I don't blame him for the story/character design decisions. I direct the hate at him specifically FOR the gameplay and balance decisions that he personally admitted to making. (i.e. removing entire stances, making backstep unsafe) and yes I'm glad he's gone. It's the only reason I have any hope...
Here's hoping they just retcon all of SCV, story and gameplay mechanics alike. And yeah, Daishi WAS responsible for a lot of the decisions in that game, so I totally understand the hate he gets.

Were the changes between SC3 ver. A, B, and C ever documented? I have US ver B, and as far as I know US didn't actually get ver. C.
Generally curious if this is worth hunting down.
Daishi being gone gives me a little bit of hope for SC, but yeah I also fear that a lot of the SC5 changes will carry over. Give me SC2 movement and SC3's GI system and I'll be set for life.
I was (mostly) joking, although I would not hesitate to ask for a refund. For me, it's not about the $20, it's about Namco taking a lazy shit on my most favorite game of all time.
If anything, I just want Namco to know that we aren't accepting this bastardization of a port.
I have no desire to...
To be perfectly honest, I think if there is no patch, we should all harass Namco for a refund. I'd at least like to hear them give a COMMENT about these issues. (Which to my knowledge, they haven't)
Class action lawsuit anyone? lol
Actually, it still CAN be the netcode. The game more than likely does a ping between the 2 players and decides how many frames of input delay to apply based on that. It seems like what's happening is that they are applying the input delay far too liberally. If they readjusted their values, the...
It's really unfair to judge SC2 by your online experiences because it's not even remotely the same game. IMO, SC2 is extremely well balanced, definitely moreso than 5. Maxi isn't quite as strong as he was in SC1, but he still has all the necessary tools to win.
If you're by any chance east...
To clarify the WMM mode issues, certain missions, specifically team battle missions will have an inconsistent framerate and slowdown. I have encountered this on 360, but haven't played WMM mode on PS3 yet so I can't say if it's happening on both systems.
Well first off, if we make it apparent to Namco that we know about these issues and enough of us are unhappy, we stand a good chance of at least being listened to.
As far as the PAL/NTSC character differences go, that actually IS a possible (and probably easy fix)
Anyways, here's a few...
