I have a friend who went through it,thankfully,he and his family are ok but my prayers go out for your safety and your families [or anyone who has family there in that matter].
Hopefully Hurricane Ike didn't do permanent damage. :(

Yeah, seeing some of the carnage is just insane. I have a friend out there as well but luckily he's outside the projected path of Ike. Still, good luck everyone and stay safe :D

Not to sound like an ass but there will undoubtedly be permanent damage, as there always is... the other constant though that makes a bigger difference is that humans can and will always rebuild.
