FSAK Official Results/Props Thread

I have to say that FSAK was the best tournament (out of the 3-4) that I've ever been too.

Props to Idlemind for bringing it out, and dealing with all of us for 3 days. This ended up being a good reason for me to travel all the way to the north for the first time, and was really something for me to look forward to. Because of you, I was able to meet some of my Xbox live friends face-to-face for the first time, so thanks man.

Props to everyone who attended, for being the coolest group of people at a tournament. Usually at tournaments, I expect to deal with at least a few a-holes, but everyone was real friendly and open as well as ready for a match. You guys are what made it so enjoyable, and I wish/hope that all tournaments would be this way.

I'd like to say that I didn't expect the competition level to be so high; it was truly the country's/world's best sc4 players in one roof, and I didn't take it seriously enough. My record (and some of my streamed matches) shows it all, and its what I deserved. But I found alot of new players to keep track of as well as new players to respect. I thought I was good, but after watching everybody, I TRULY found out what it means to be good at this game, and I still have alot of work to do. I even wrote a blog entry about the whole experience, which I might put up soon.


Props to the whole ATL crew -- each and every one of you out of this group are really good players and competitors. I appreciate the pointers and help from Shinji and Suphy. RTD always seemed to be pretty cool, and this tournament was no different. SwordLord has been a regular opponent of mine for the past couple of tourneys, but I've yet to win. This tournament in particular, your skill level seems to have ramped up.

Props specifically to Mick, ZeroEffect, and Malek. You guys don't know it, but watching your matches really showed me a valuable lesson as to how to be good at this game the most. Mick and ZeroEffect in particular, you guys play your frames very well, and I will use your matches as a basis help me improve. So.....yeah......thanks for, uh, showing up. ^___^

Props to Hawkeye, THE coolest person at FSAK. It was good to finally meet you in person, and I have to show respect for being one of the top players at an SC4 major, while using one of the WORST characters in the game. MUCH respect for you. That says alot, and I hope to see you again in the future.

Props to Surge! It was really good to meet you. Like I told you in person, your videos were the first ones I looked at when I first played SC4; they taught me alot, and still have an influence on me now. Good luck in the monthlies (if you are playing in them)

Props to Dreamkiller and JJJ for DESTROYING me on stream. Now I see how much of a beast Amy is, and will come better prepared.

Props to Jerry/FuzzieViking. We had ALOT of good matches together, and I think you did really well for your first tourney (way to pick your first tourney venue!). You are really cool and helped make FSAK much more enjoyable. Plus your parents are even cooler for showing up there too! By all means, catch me on XBL.

Props to HajimeOwari(very cool guy with very scary yoshi), Whoaazz (congrats on the win!), J.R (did i put your name down right?), KrazieCD (I'm DEFINITELY going to look out for ALL your matches now; you're really good!), OOFMATIC, JustKill (very cool guy), Luck (impressive Setsuka!), and more that I cant think of right now. Seriously, if I forget your name, let me know in the thread, and I'll update this post! There were really too many people to remember/mention.

Also, thanks to Jaxel for the stream work, which my friends got to watch, and I get to use for reference now.

SU: I respect the fact you called me out not knowing what you were getting yourself into. One thing I dont respect about you is the excuses and lies you have, just man up in all situations. When I said you and Woahhzz should be thanking oof for parlor tricking me I meant exactly that because there is no way either of you would have beaten me. BTW, friends dont continue to take friends money...lol. Congrats on 3rd!

Woah: Great job champ, you put the work in and as a result you came out on top. We'll have to play again at the next tourney so you can get your revenge...lol.

Malek: I enjoyed finally meeting the terror of the US and you definitely lived up to everything the community said. You were overall the best player at that tourney. If for some reason I can get out of going to Afghanistan look for me to be in France like no other to dominate your country. I have the talent, just lack some of the key knownledge that you have, which will come in quickly(next tourney). Good job and I had fun with you.

oof: Good job on getting 4th place. You beat me, what can I say? You are on the top of my list for people to expose, especially after hearing you talk shit when you beat me. You shouldnt take pride in a victory like that, however, if you can do it again then you should. I will quit SC4 if I EVER lose to your tricks again. Furthermore, congrats again.

LP: My brotha at arms. Man if i would have known you was wild as you were, we would have found something to get into and tripped more. There will be future tourney or events that will allow us to chill. You should be paid for your shit talking and for some reason I was fueling off you when you were clowning SU. I see you being a monster if you continue to play SC4 or SC5(Hopes). Again, nice meeting you and we got to do it again.

DreamKiller: It was finally nice to meet you, you're cool people. I thought you was going to be some ass-hole that I could stand but you turned out to be one of the coolest and most funny people at the tourney. I know you're looking forward to playing me again like many others at this tourney. You shouldnt feel bad, no amy beat me at this tourney...lol. Look forward to trippin with you at the next tourney and i'll bring you a wheelchair cause you seem to be the washed up one. O_O

CD: My bad for lying to you get some games in...lol. I forgot how funny are you IRL. If you at a tourney then i'm at that mofo, but LP has to be there also. I see you're still solid at this game and had a lot of people worried about you. Hopefully we can arrange another big tourney before I go to Afghanistan and we hit the club or bars up. GGS.

Xeph - You went to one tourney and now you think you're good. Haha classic. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

And now I'm glad Mick can agree with OOFs parlour tricks. Vader has an unfair advatnage with his force Tactics. Period. But I digress. We already know Woahhzz is the Best USA player. everyone else can be a close 2nd.

Oh, no... I don't think I'm good for that reason alone. When people like Thugish or Dreamkiller think I'm good and have nothing but nice thinigs to say about me, that gives me the a little hint that I may be good. Or when Malek and I are talking in person and he says I impressed him, that may be another. I mean, I'm the first to admit people are better, but I don't think you have to be at Thug or Woahhzz level to be considered good. I mean, if that were the case, then you wouldn't be considered decent either.

And, it is like you to be having a period over anything I say even though I was talking to Shinji and not you in my last post. Instead of being this awesome keyboard commando, you should've just came to FSAK. Also, you don't see me bragging about getting in a place that isn't top 3... *cough* :D

Actually D.I.N.O Xeph has been to two major tournies: Devastation and FSAK. For Devastation he placed quite well; he tied with TheHumanTyphoon on 7th or 9th I think.

Out of respect all I can say is that Xeph is promising and only being in a few tournies to me is just the beginning.

PS: Finally I get to see vids of him in action in offline tournies (not casuals btw). Online vids most of the time just turns me off.

Xeph is the best thing to come from online since me and Woahhzz. Xeph is also better than you as a player on all accounts. There are a number of people that could support the fact he's just waiting to tap into Something-Great (that one is for u Xeph lol). Xeph also gets more respect than you as a human being lol. I always find it baffling how people like you are loud and trollish on here but in real life are nothing like it. In real life your super quiet and devoid of any personality. Keyboard personality's I will never understand.

On that note props incoming as well as showing the world what keyboard personalities are like in real life yet when they get back home behind a computer they grow some balls... hint lobo.

Now i see how rumors and lies begin. I'm not just singling you out oof. I've heard soooo many lies about how good i used to be or maybe it's just SU hating or some shit. I know this isnt the place for me to set the story straight as far as how good I was at SC2 and SC3 until I joined the army. For some reason SU dont believe RTD and myself wasnt considered the best at SC4 when we played up until I joined the army. We won more than that clash tourney for those of you that like to say they only won one tourney. Enough with this I will start a thread on this somewhere else.

2. I chose not to play this game with Amy as my main because I wanted a challenge.
3. I know how to play the game very well. My character makes my victory a little difficult.

Okay, so ur saying that if u play Amy you'll just mindlessly wreck everyone right? That playing is a free win for everyone who plays her, and its not challenging to play with her at all and she's dumb and broken...right? lol. Yeah, not gonna go into "Amy weakness" talk with you. But theres a reason why tournaments arent all filled with Amys in the Top 5 -_-

I play Amy to win. Plain and simple. I'm a Taki fanboy BUT SHE SUCKS! She is predictable and weak and has a shitload of bad matchups lol. BAD!!! Maybe if Setsuka ended up lower-mid you'd switch too, but unfortunately she's always good so that'll never happen. You play a Top Tier and yet u NEVER break in Top anything at the tournaments u enter now that sir is sad =/

At a tournament it's always people first. Thats why I go. To chill with everybody, THEN yea it does come to winning. Cause if I put money down on a tournament, I want to see some of it back. EVERYBODY goes to a tournament to try and win it, if not, then to at least break in Top 3.

Hawkeye did have a cute Taki to show off at FSAK, but look at where he placed. He's definitely talented and has potential (more than you'll ever have.) But he won't switch his character and thats whats holding him back. Not that theres anything wrong with that, but unless he's pullin out new tricks everytime he shows up to a tourney he won't be placing either.

It's funny, my options to stop throws sucked yet I beat you and your silly way of playing this game. Lol, nice. You played me SC3 enough to know that I just down blindly rushdown with any of my characters (ironic since they all seem to RTSD oriented anyway.) I've had tons of other ppl point out that I play a different style of Amy anyway so learn the difference between "running away" and "being careful." I don't run into attacks like you do playboy ;-)

PS - It wasn't bashing. I always treat you like this. On the boards and in person. It only took you 5 years to realize it. Muah. =P
