Haha sure, but I dunno how my little Viola will do against someone who has already won 2 SCV tourneys. I was pretty bummed I missed the tourney last week at Gamerbase because I think it would've been nice to play with that other Viola player.

I haven't really been keeping up with tourney news, which is why I missed Sunday. Did I miss qualifiers for the March tourney?

I know the continental types need to qualify for a sponsored place but do we?
 
Wouldn't it be easier for you guys to just challenge him to a first to five and school him on how rank and skill aren't synonymous?

Not really if Dino wants to gloat he has every right, what's the point of coming in here and shitting on his happiness. Best way to get at him is competitively taking away his ranking.

Thought so - its a case of UK players turn up on the day, have a tournament, Hyrul winner plays the Europeans. Just turn up at the big one. =)

I was worried for a second, I got offered a sponsorship for this tournament, lol.

Where are these Gamerbase tourneies, i entertained the thought of entering one just for the experience more than anything but when I posted in one of the aftermath threads I never got any responce.

EDIT:

Gamerbase is a gaming area in the HMV at the Trocadero, usually there are SFIV tourneys on tuesdays and MvC tourneys on thursdays. Tekken guys go to Casino arcade on Goodge Street most of the time, as well as the Snakepit tourneys.

It's been ages since I've been to any of these things because of my job (I was pretty bummed because I missed a wednesday KoF tourney at gamerbase a month or so back!).

I've heard the soul calibur tourneys will be held monthly on wednesdays at Gamerbase.

At the Gamerbase, lol.
There are three in Britain: London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The one being talked about here is in London, specifically the back of HMV, in Picadilly at the Trocadero centre.

You should come along, its how we converted Bushindu to offline. =)
 
I'll have to look into it, due to work/missus etc if it was held on a Wednesday I would likely need to book the thursday morning off work as I live in Wales and would be quite a trek to get my ass handed to me. :)

I'll continue to Play Ranked with my 5 or so Mains, and continue to JG UBs, land Massive JF combos, and still give the opponent a chance to learn the game without abuse of Tactics. If I cared about Rank, I'd be way more than 84%.

Guess you're American then lol, can see you in top 10 ranking (think i'm around 8th for world) and would have liked to play you but I never get matched up with US players anymore like I did in SC4. :(

Played everyone in EU top spots and beaten most with the exception of one or two, he's had me a few times. His time will come soon enough though. :D
