Nightmare General Discussion/Q&A

Any SL, SM, Mid or high attack that does 28 damage or less.
Basically, it says fuck you to pokes.
You lose a little HP.
GS A+B no longer exists.

What moves does it GI? Is the damage variable? Do you lose HP when you "GI" something with it?
And I don't remember right now, but does GS A+B still exist? If it does, how does it compare to neutral A+B?

moved to the Q&A thread

Ok, I'm not sure if this has already been found, or even works for that matter, but last night I was playing some casuals with a friend and I got a CH 3AA which sent him rolling towards she short side wall on Cervy's stage and then I went for 33B BE and it caught him mid-roll and lifted him up(just like how 66B pops them up after 33B BE) just enough for a RO. I tried recreating it this morning to no avail. Has anybody else gotten this to work or was this some kinda strange fluke?

I just went into training and tested it out. Looks like its a tech trap near walls and ring edges that catches all but right ukemi. Nice find.

it also seems to have some whiffing issues with Pyrrha-type hitboxes. The first hit will launch, but the second will whiff and pyrrha will fall behind NM.

I think GS K BE from the same situation is guaranteed. I think 2 A+B is a combo from that as well.

Yeah, GSKBE is guaranteed on pyrrha, so I guess it works for larger hitboxes too. 1a also catches right ukemi, so i guess you could mix it up with 33bBE and hope the whiffing crap doesn't happen.

GS A+B is gone (which is unfortunate because it is the manliest move ever). Regular A+B will explode against anything that isn't a low, over 30 damage, or a stun. You'll still lose some HP when you get hit and I'm not sure if the damage varies.

man, that ramon vs omega match, ramon was eating those free 3B > NSS bAs so much, i think he got psyched or something..

You know I already have 3AA near walls into GSKBE listed in the combo section? Come guys.

Omega is pretty much the Keev of NA. He might not have the same technology but he has the instincts.

It's funny because NSS JFbA knocked pyrrha out of her 236B after 3B on block, in one instance.

NSS bA has sidestep property? Man I want watch Omega in final round so bad....I didn't get to watch final round at all(cause of work).

Omega was setting up those 3B, b:A perfectly though. He was stepping into that throw sweet spot and slide faking. High risk stuff but it paid off.

His performance in the grand finals was one of the best I have ever seen. Going toe to toe against Natsu at close range and winning. Damn.

Engared, could you post the link of those video, please? I can't find them. Thank you.

Edited: arrr... I found it. Anyway, thank you.
