do you think SFxT will hurt SCV?

Mmm it really depends on the players. I'm not a big Street Fighter fan so I'm waiting for the Tekken x Street Fighter version and I have a feeling, I may be hooked on that one since I'm a big Tekken fan. But that game isn't coming out for a long while...

I'll be getting it even though I'm not a fan at all of Crapcom games.

What did me in were the Tekken characters and the tag mechanics.

I'm a sucker for tag fighting games. Tekken Tag is still my fav fighter to this date, over SC2.
Then... shouldn't you just wait for Tekken Tag Tournament 2? And/or TxSF? (the 3D version, due for later...)

Well, at least all the annoying saturday night gamers will leave and only people interested in SC will remain and the number of people that messagges you to call you spamer or grab bitch will decrease considerably. Also, halls will have more free slots.

I don't see why it'd hurt more than if it was Tekken Tag 2 or god knows what. I'm playing both games right now. I love Soul Calibur, I love Tekken, and I'm still training at the SF game style. I can do it all .__.

SFXT like every other crossover will be dead, buried and forgotten within a year, just pretend it doesn't exist. =)
Crossovers, in this case, is just promotion for both sides of the fence, introducing Street Fighter fans to Tekken, and vice versa. This is if they "apparently" don't know about the series.

The same can be said about Akira being in DOA5, even though I knew about VF for....almost 2 decades, and I still play it.

Whether that's true or not, for it to cut SCV at the legs just as it's progressing can't possibly be good for getting new people or people from the 2D community.

Playing it for a bit now i have to admit.. the game is truly truly fun to play so i might start playing SC5 less (i wont stop playing completely however). At start i had the impressesion that SFXT was just a gimmicky kind of game but its really fun in the end.

I saw some gameplay footage today online, and I have to agree, it does look fun.
If I get it, I'll use Asuka and Juri.

My brother plans on buying SFXT so I think I'll give it a go. I'll probably use Hwoarang (Fav Tekken Character!), Nina, Asuka, Lili, Juri, and Chun-Li. :)

Ohh! Don't forget Sakura and Kari... wait...
WHY THE FUCK ISN'T KARIN IN THE GAME FFS!!!!
because lily is in there...crapcom idealism...nuff said.
Got the game since friday its really fun...gonna play it a lil but after then..goin back to sc and waiting for alisa(DLC).
My team is incomplete -.-

There's one single game I'm worried about: Dead or Alive 5. That game WILL be the shit.
lmfao. Akira in the game pretty much put the icing on the cake and the cake isn't even done yet.

Wow, what a horrible metaphor. lol

But as far as stages, Dead or Alive has always had AMAZING stages. The ones they have now pretty much set the bar. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be after that I believe.

2012 will be a great year for fighting games. I will say that.
