ZWEI is still unfit for tournament play, but while Yoshi was nerfed, it was only a slight nerf. I'm just displeased because I really expected a buff... even if it was only a small one. I mean, 240 changes and the worst character in the game only gets 3 small, useless buffs?

aPat got some nerfs, but nothing significant. I don't know if he'll be ready for next Manawerx, but we'll see. I'm not even in the mood to play at the moment because I had some high hopes for this patch and Namco failed miserably. It's like they don't know their own game.

Yeah I know your Yoshi is still viable, I am just messing with you. Still though, no way ZWEI is worst. Aeon takes that title. 2nd worst, that's what ZWEI is.

Aeon got a lot of buffs, so after tomorrow ZWEI will be worst.

His BnBs recieved more damage. The damage nerf on 8A+B only affects his throw combo. His normal 1B:B BnB is 1B:B 1B:B 214~3B:B JFO JFO or 1B:B 1B:B 44B+K BE 214~3B:B JFO JFO.

WS B took a nerf, but not a really significant one. Along with the backstep nerf, and I'd say he's better overall.
 
1, it said they shortened the input between the first and second 1bb correct? Or am I reading it wrong. If so that makes it tougher to land, and i'm assuming jfo means the twister, also if so that combo is very tough to pull off in a high pressure situation. All in all it will be just like facing another setsuka in 4, which the good ones are very rare
 
just played around with alpha, the timing is def more strict on the 1bb, kinda a pain in the ass. over all the same combo does the same amount of damage and if you try to do the combo dest named above, depending on the range 2143 bb leaves them, twister will whiff so thats a pain. he still is a beast, just slightly more difficult.

I didn't find the timing change too bad - and the 214~3B:B is incorrectly timed if you miss JFO.

Just played with him and this rings true a bit - his timing is about the same as her old ones were now - and I'm happy about that. Giving him that much more damage than her for even EASIER effort was kind of stupid.

However, a lot of his stuff isn't the same as hers :( Still feels kinda lame to me.

And there were several good setsukas in 4.
 
Hey, I'm kinda new to the forum, but I live in Phoenix and was wondering where I could find some tournaments. Maybe even some casuals =]
 
Aaaawwhh yeah, get ready SPQR, I'm learning to JG that 66B brave edge from Voldo on reaction.

I'm also working on anti asty because holy crap is that character impossible for her.

Soon, anti yoshi. I already have SOME anti Pat so that can wait. And I've been playing with Heaton for anti sieg. Hopefully I'll know what the hell I'm doing by next manawerx :)

We hold biweeklies in the phoenix/glendale area. The next one is next wednesday - check the first post of the thread for that. Casuals - well those happen whenever somebody is up for hosting some. Usually there'll be a post in this thread if they're planning anything.
 
Heaton is a very good sieg from what I hear but I also hear we play different. And I do hope you learn sieg, that it teaches me to stop trying to get away with so much. Kinetic, there will be casuals going down on Friday, here's my cell 302-670-0469

You can step the second hit. Why would you risk failing a JG and eating damage when its steppable? Cmon man, get to the level of tech kPc is already at, lmao.

6ABB? I only do it post 44B where it's guaranteed, or post-4A when counterhit fishing off my frame trap.

That doesn't bode well for me then, I was having problems with your pre-patch Ivy and she got buffed.
