On CH 66A(B) is guaranteed. On NH, you can tech the (B).

We had a little debate about JustGuard and how it may affect the metagame in the future. We were basically saying that it should be possible to option select with JG and cover at least 2 possible reactions.
 
Saitoh, very good matches. Glad to see you post more videos. Your use of Astaroth looks pretty straight forward- but it works for you; solid basics. Congratulations, too.
 
Nice vids Saitoh, I'm into Asta now, he is my strongest secondary, hey, did you know that you can heavily punish Ivy's BE with 66K BE?

I'm curious what is meant here as well.

That shouldn't be possible as Ivy's attack lands before you can even guard. Why would you be able to use an attack and thereby activate the armor?

Yeah, I know you will find it useful :), there are two of Ivy's BE that can be treated with 66K BE, I know you have the reflexes to do it, I've been scaring some players with that.
 
On this one I don't think it can. If an opponent blocks her 1B BE then she gets a free 6B8,K before they can do anything. Granted the timing is strict so some people might not bother with it if they can't pull it off.
 
Wow Saitoh how can you use 3K variations so well ?

I did not know you have time to do 634B+G ~ 6632B BE ... learnt something new
 
I am a total scrub with Astaroth, but I have a couple of games to share - advice is welcome as I really need to step up my game with the big man. Don't expect me to be playing well in the videos, lol.

 
You a scrub with Asta? Then I almost won the nationals playing like a scrub, since my asta is equally scrubby. Then again, anyone not playing as good as Saitoh=scrub, lol. Incase you dont know what I'm talking about, here's a scrub match against Dranakal mitsu, behold:
