What’s your Yoshi control scheme?

I can do parting fist just fine with that setup.

Edit: That's the attack where he lick slices through them when they're stunned right?
No. That’s CH bA, which is very easy (and the coolest move in the series, IMHO). Parting thrust (formerly known as Earslicer) is a:B+K, and it’s become a bit more challenging than it was in IV.

L1: A+B
L2: B+G
R1: B+K
R2: A+B+K
Face buttons are defaults.

I use face buttons for A+K (you learn to use it regularly with voldo in SCIV), iMCF, and a:B+K. You just need to get used to it, my thumb got a blister the first week I got the game though, I guess was trying to do it too hard. I can do them all perfectly nearly all the time now (I have my bad days).

Currently, I use the default, except for having RB used for A+K

I want to swap G for B+K and A+G for G though, but it feels odd having such a vital button be moved to the other side of the controller. I'll get there in time though.

Dang, a:B+K is fucking hard XD

L1: A+B
L2: B+G
R1: B+K
R2: A+B+K

This makes stances so much easier, as well as pretty much most of Yoshi's moves.
Also makes bouncing around in flea stance (as well as digger spirit) more consistent.

Default face buttons, but switch K and B positions (so A+K and B+G is easier for me instead of being spaced out)
I do iMCF/a:B+K using the face buttons and sliding motion. I hold the controller the normal way (using both thumbs for inputs).

L1: K+G
L2: --
R1: A+B
R2: --

bA is done by tapping B and then R1 (A+B functions as a pseudo A).
A+B+K by tapping K together with R1. I got used to this control scheme because I actually spent a lot of time on SC:BD on the psp with only 2 triggers.

I think this control scheme is the only one of its kind out there. I don't know anyone else who saves a trigger for K+G :)

Sorry, but I did K+G for a trigger bind in SCIV for Voldo's taunt cancel. On SC: BD I have the left trigger set to A+B and the other off because I always accidentally press it when doing iMCF.

D: you don't need to apologize with that lil' chutzpah, just didn't think anyone else followed this config. I just added the K+G for the extra trollolol :)

On a Madcatz SF4 SE:

A B K X
G X X X

Oldschool baby!

Also - this is how you troll Soul tournaments - take a stick modded for the wrong game - this is my baby:

I've finalized my control scheme.

L1: B+G
L2: A+B+K
R1: A
R2: B+K

I was rocking L1 as A+K for awhile until I realized I could just press R1 and K at the same time.

As someone who recently started maining Yoshi (w/ finger blisters to prove it!) here's what's starting to slowly come around for me on a stick controller:
A B K A
G ABK -- BK
for iMCF i swipe across the A&B on the top left and for a:B+K i flick down on the far right. Hardest part was getting used to resetting hand after a:B+K for some follow-up but pretty used to it now.
Still terrible at consistently executing + incorporating iMCF during matches. I eat punishment for not executing it right or doing it out of range.

Best part of Yoshi is he's great to use whether you're trying hard or trying to amuse yourself.
