If you haven't done it yet, I'm still down to play. It's been a while since I've gotten legitimately thrashed in a fighting game. I need to fix that before I start getting delusions of adequacy.

Pretty much any character with a superjump is really satisfying to hit with iTS or 8B+K. And stopping Yoshi's Dragonfly mixups with a quick B2. It's so fun to do that to someone offline and watch them just go "WHAT."

I find Maxi's strings to be pretty easy to read. He doesn't have as many 50/50 mixups as it seems, and a lot of his strings can be ducked. In fact, ducking is a pretty good rule against Maxi, since his best mids are slow enough to react to, and a lot of his best attacks in general are low. Just...

He doesn't even have a good win percentage, considering how much he d/cs. Like, why would you even bother quitting if your win rate is already firmly at 57%? Are you afraid to tarnish a completely mediocre reputation?

Had a fun exchange with a man named DrCornholio. I think I saw his name in the Ragequitters thread so I should have expected it. Big-dicked CAS. I RO'd him once, then won the next two rounds easily, and he quit at the last second. Except, he did it too late and I got the win and the rank points...

I don't think Cervantes has ever been a bad pick. He's kind of like Akuma from SF: even when he's at his worst, he still has enough tools to make him above average.

I'm actually really excited to get my hands on SC2 Cervantes. SCV's Cerv is fun and strong, but he just doesn't feel as technical as he should. iGDR is really the only skill gate to learning him, and his combos felt too simple to me. I'm looking forward to playing with a really technical juggle...
