Patch is out in NA, in case anyone missed it. And yeah, it seems like 1B:B is a 1 frame JF now, oddly enough though it doesn't really seem any harder to do. I'm getting them just as often as I was before.

Yup, that does indeed work. What also works is doing 66A+B instead of 33A+B for the last hit. The game will recognize that you're on the other side of the enemy and let you use 66 as the "back, back" motion.

I wouldn't say you "have to" as I'm not a tourney player like the well known folks on here. But it seems to be highly recommended, given how bad the Xbox 360 controller is with fighters (specifically, the d-pad).

Pretty sure he uses a PS3 controller actually, which is highly possible to play well with. It's just Xbox 360 controllers specifically that are garbage for fighting games.

SCIV Kilik 1P was the goddamn MVP. Outfit looked boss as hell. Alpha Pat's 1P is pretty sick too.

agB is exactly as it sounds, actually. It's a slide from A to G to B. Its much easier to do (on pads anyway) by just sliding A to G then quickly pressing one of the shoulder buttons with B in it, such as A+B.

- Twister (which is in fact Sakura Twister) and Umbrella are the same move. 2143aB would cause Setsuka in SCIV to do a charge attack with the umbrella opened up (thus the name) while Pat does the spinning slash attack. Some people just have trouble getting over calling it Umbrella, thus why you...

For the JF Twister, you just have to do the aB slide very quickly. I wasn't able to do it for anything though until I started to do it quickly AND lightly, where the button presses are soft yet fast. When I pressed them firmly it didn't seem to come out no matter how quickly I did the slide...

The pain in the neck for me with JF Twisters now isn't the motion or not going fast enough, it's when I seemingly go too fast. I get times when instead of 2143aB it just registers 2143A (this is what usually happens when I screw it up) or rarely just 2143B. And if I press too hard I don't go...

Don't. Keep at it. I personally think I still suck at this game and I was able to get it. If you keep trying to learn it, you eventually will. I thought I'd never get the JF Twister down until one day, I did.
