        Recover Crouch Cancel, or something similar. Basically after using one of his moves that leaves you in crouch, you need to press ~8 or ~6 near the end of the animation so you can use a standing move for a combo. An example is iMCF, RCC, 3B. If you didn't crouch cancel, the 3B would just be a normal hit that wouldn't launch.

        You can play pretty well without the iMCF, but RCC isn't that hard. You just press 8 near the end of the animation then input your next move. Yoshi's a fun character, nice wall combos as well.
