      yeah but you might be thinking of Nero too. caligula was just too over the top and screwed up to be human. and bathory gets props for being vlad dracula's cousin. he is viewed as a bad guy, sure he was blood thirsty but knew his priorities.

      Like Countess Bathory? Historically speaking that's a bunch of heritage-hate. Plus she could never actually bathe in the blood of people. Doesn't make sense. A young female has about 4.5 liters of blood in their body each, and most of her torturing was based on burning. My personal worst person to ever live in Caligula, a roman emperor. Modern times would probably be Idi Amin.
