  Anyone have any ideas as to why my Xbox visuals have randomly turned janky? And why it pops SCV into widescreen mode? Ta.

    For the record; We haven't changed any settings or hardware, it was working fine one day and now it's suddenly awful.
    
    It only seems to apply to 360 games, as XBLA stuff is fine, though this might just be a graphical thing. But it leads me to believe the HD decided "fuck it".

    Are you sure it's not a change in the console's resolution settings? It's either that or you accidentally changed it from HD to SD.
    
    I remember one time my brother took the Xbox for a trip and when he came back he plugged it to the TV with composite cables instead of the HD one, and it looked terrible.

    Yeah I've check everything. Seems to have sorted itself out though, so I have NO idea. I'm thinking my partner made some changes without realising...

    Pocky, I have a XBL, but it's silver right now. The Internet is so bad where I currently live that I can't even hook up my Xbox. We're thinking about moving because this house is ridiculous anyway, so hopefully we can get better Internet service. I really want to get online with you guys.
