Hey, I got SCV for the PS3 now! I'm not very good with the PS3 controller though. So many misinputs. Anyways, wanna fight soon?
Put your hatter on and walk with swag. Preferably to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puw1Mh08Cak&feature=related
WC players complained about MLG happening during NCR, and now EC players can complain about MLG conflicting with ECT! :D
You are already A1 rank on PSN, #11 in NA because of that alone,I'm even more motivated to using Dampierre even more! How do you do it?
The rank # doesn't really matter. All maxed out A1 ranks are considered tied. Once you get to that point the ranks are based on which maxed A1 player was most recent to play. So if I go online right now and win a match, I will be bumped up to #1 on the world rankings, until another A1 wins before me, which will push me down a spot. Dampierre just requires a lot of dedication. :)
Ah so that's how it works, cool, yeah, I like using Dampierre, even though he's bottom tier and require s work to win and gets shat on at the wrong times, that doesn't worry me, I hate mainstream characters in general.
Well, I can't say much about it, I don't have percise frame data to back up my claims. You'll just have to decide for yourself if it's worth figuring out.
I would set B+K to a trigger and then press the controllers together so that the buttons press each other down. Additionally, I would test it with other non-random moves to make sure there's no human error. As far as the start of each round, I have not had any trouble getting consistent results, but I'll put up a video to prove it.
Ok, so I tried it with your method and still get inconsistent results. The most I've gotten was 3 in a row happening at the same time, but that only proves that I got lucky, since the majority of time it doesn't happen. There was still way too much inconsisency in my results.
First of all, two different people with two different controllers attempting to time the same move within a very small frame window is not a valid point. If you got two identical controllers and carefully set things up so that both inputs were timed at exactly the same time and got different results, that would be a valid point.
Who said anything about two different people? I've tested it myself, I used two same model PS3 controllers, I set the trigger buttons on both to B+K and A+B, and put the controllers side by side. I then used an object that would press both buttons at the same time when pushed down, to ensure that they're synchronized. I still got different results.
And don't forget about the other two points that disprove your theory - about doing a random move at the very start of the round, and about doing two random moves one immediately after the other.
If you think the moves are random that's fine, but I have no idea why you're so quick to lock my thread. It's worth investigating, I've showed it to you myself, and I actually use it when I play. If you want to call it theory, that's fine, but there's still no reason to lock the thread.
The thread is locked because 3 valid points have been made that disprove your theory. Unless you can come up with a convincing counter arguement against those 3 points that invalidates them then there is no reason to keep the thread open.
hey man, back when BD came out you had posted up a sound file to help with B!E! timing, you wouldn't happen to still have it?
Hey do you want to fight anytime soon? I'm learning Damp but I need someone real good to help me with what i'm doing wrong, what i'm not doing enough etc.
Sure, I'm usually on PSN at night playing ranked. Send me an invite when you see me on and we'll get some games in.
Hey man, just wondering, if you ever have the time, can you play a few rounds against me and tell me how my Dampierre is? P.S: I'm on XBL
Sure, but my custom controller is broken and sent out for repair. So I won't be playing on XBL for another few weeks. I'll be on PSN in the meantime.
Sadly i don't have PSn. however, I'm willing to wait for a few weeks though. I'll jsut go on and leave my account name here just incase. XBL:iluvpie669
