Dance Central 2 is doing that. Though it doesn't really have impact on the gameplay, we'll get free DLC characters as soon as the dance-count reaches 100 millions. So it's exactly what you're refering too. And I would gladly take that as well for SC.

He did in SCBD, but as he's only a guest/DLC character, he has only one weapon, and his 1P/2P can't be recolor. I don't think you can create a 3P neither.

This makes me think of the time where 1P hairstyles weren't availables. And then, I remember the interview saying that this time they would be in the CaS mode. They should have told us that 2P hairs, costumes etc wouldn't be... Disappointing fact is disappointing.

For Dampierre, you can't do anything (seems he has no other weapons, but I'm only at lvl 13 so maybe after ?) For the bottom row, you can change their weapon (except the mimics) or the color of their clothes for the 1P and 2P, or either create an original 3P with the CaS parts. Edit : I don't...
