Thanks for the reply. So I can't shake with 2 and 4 to get out of it? It has to be a 4, 6 shake? I thought I broke some stuns this weekend with 4, 2 shakes cuz I suck at those 4, 6 ones. Anyway, thanks again, take it easy.

yeah...i've always been a pad player.

i like pad because i feel like i have more control for executing.

but all you do to break stuns on pad is to shake the d-pad going between 4 and 6 as fast as possible. speed is the key here; not so much the technicality of the inputs.
