        Algol has his weaknesses (bad stepkill, atrocious movement) but I think his strengths outweigh them quite a bit. You just can't go into SCV with Algol and expect to win with an SCIV Algol mindset; he's a completely different character in this game.

      About what you asked. I don't know what I could help you with. I can only say all of his moves have a purpose. But it doesn't mean you need them all. Against very hard people though (like Partisan) you will have to use different moves to be successful. 66A, 3B, 1B, grabs won't cut it. You need a better mind game, an advanced, unpredictable one.

        At first I put off Aeon because I made the hasty conclusion that he's just a boring, simplistic character. With a stance like Sand Winger, you can see how I might've come to that conclusion, lol. But I've realized just how fun and rewarding he is to play, and it really helps my fundamentals for stuff like timing 3B or 1B BE to interrupt people.

        I find I don't freeze up as much at negative frames and subject myself to mixups. I still can't string attacks together in that fast, read-based playstyle that you and Partisan destroy me with but I'm getting a hold on how it works and how I can get better at it.

        Basically I'm just saying I've been playing too braindead, focusing too much on the situations rather than how I expect my opponent to deal with them. I also unfairly eliminate certain moves from my gameplay on the assumption that my opponent knows how to deal with them.

        Looking back on it, the wording I chose was quite bizarre. Stupid 140 character limit forcing me to mince words in ways that make no sense.

      For the damage ranking video, I put ORB Viola in last and SET Viola in 3rd. Viola is the strongest WITH meter. And 666B is techable after 44B BS 6B, 6B.

        Anyways, how did you come upon i31 for setting the rules? That seems ridiculously arbitrary. Also, what about strings? Astaroth's 66A[B] is 94 damage on a run counter. Just because it's a string and not a combo it makes this character less damaging?
