        Lol, good for you. I'd love to be anywhere but here. The city isn't as great as it seems. You may love the bright lights, the beautiful landmarks and amazing fashion designs that are worn by most of the residents, but if you get past it, it's just another city. I cannot wait to graduate and settle down ^_^

      The matchup thread, while useful won't do you much good against especially verstaile offence characters like Cass, X, or Amy because breaking them is not possible, you have to break the player. If you need any further or specific help, just shoot me a PM. =)

        Thanks, you all have helped me out quite a bit. I most likely won't be able to record myself playing, but I think I'll just have to work on my Safefried because most of the damage he does comes from punishment. I've noticed my aggressive tendencies, I just need to correct them and find someone else who is good in my area.

      in 2D Fighters, health is not standardised, its used in the balancing.
      In SSFIV:AE, Seth has 750, Zangief has 1300
      In Blazblue, Carl has 8,000, Iron Tager has 12,000
      In UMVC3, Phoenix has 375,000, Thor has 1,300,000.

        The BIG barrier between 3D fighter players becoming strong 2D fighters is execution, which takes a lot of getting used to. However in this sense, marvel is generally more forgiviving, so its a really good one to go for. You still need to play stick though =/

        Yeah pad's never cut it for me on 2d, could never get into them because of that. Can't afford a stick, my fighting pad will have to do for awhile. Then I'll start on 2d's when I get a stick.

        If you shop around, you can get them pretty cheap. Mine is second hand from a US SF tourney player and including international shipping it cost me $85.00. I've spent another $50.00 or so on mods and now its better than a new tournament edition.
