I've been pretty impressed with her 3K. While it may not lead into any combos, it's a solid mid poke that has some reach to it, allows you to maintain your distance if need be, appears to move pretty quickly, & gives you enough time to GI after it's blocked.
Hopefully there'll be an option to disable the aggressive depth-of-field effect. I get that they want you to focus on the fighters and not the background, but it's still a shame that Namco puts an incredible amount of work into the design of the stages only to then blur out most of the details.
Good point.
Part of me is afraid that if she does make the cut for SC6, it might be a version of her that takes place before her personality splits into two distinct parts. The somewhat unpredicatable nature of which moveset she had access to is what made her so much fun to play. No two matches...
Nothing would make me happier than an option to disable the visual aspect of costume destruction. In online matches one player might turn the option off while their opponent leaves it on and the change would be reflected accordingly on that player's own screen.
Yeah, I was thinking you'd be able to do that immediately after getting the patch, but I'm not seeing the option to do so. I was rather looking forward to that. :(
If buying CAS DLC is going to encourage Namco to do anything, it'll be to make more CAS DLC. There's not a whole lot of profit to be had from working on patches. It'll be really surprising if this patch isn't the last regardless of how well the DLC sells.
Why is it that these game companies can't include frame data in practice mode? At first I thought it was just a shallow attempt to sell strategy guides, which it probably is, but with the release of this patch a good amount of frame data in the official guide is now outdated. At this point...
