Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

K, the problem here i think is not enough communication and not enough clarification with that said...

Shinji...

ok, i can understand you a bit more, and hopefully you can understand me a bit more now too(i hope), but regardless of the "notations"..humor me and try this out:

do X's Ak(i think this is how you type it, if not my bad), ok, now do Sophie's A~k(this is how you type it for her i think?), ok, now do BOTH of them no delay(no delay on Sophie's k follow up at all), just do both characters moves!!..now you will see BOTH attacks can be done in the EXACT same execution timing, sliding finger, no sliding finger, index finger/pinky whatever...

...That is why i was using A,K for X, and for Sophie as well in text notation, this is why i used that to depict those 2 moves in text, because they can both be done in the EXACT same input timing(regardless of what the written text format means), I've done these moves a million times before, so in text(as i wrote them out) mean the same thing in my eyes for the simple reason they can both be executed in EXACT same timing!...

...so in essence there isn't anything different about them in execution at all(you said they are both different moves) which implies they have different execution timing...(and i know they BOTH have different animations but that wasn't the case point)... which is what i tried to hint at you other ways i suppose(unless of course you want to delay Sophie's (K) for a delay mix-up)..only difference from them both is their written text notations... you kept saying they are 2 different moves(in written form/move execution)this is what i was getting from your words.

That is why/what i was trying to hint at you in many ways, and why i was quoting you... but i think it just didn't register with you with what i was trying to get at...and of course i understand the differences in text notation here at 8wayrun, just that you didn't catch the gist of what i was saying, when all along i understood exactly what you meant/getting at to begin with.

Now, i know that (,) and (~) are 2 different things and yes, have 2 different meanings of placement, but when you talk about 2 characters and 2 moves that can be done in the EXACT same execution timing shared between them, why would it matter if(,/~) mean different things when both attacks by both characters can be done EXACTLY the same way in execution timing?..see my point more clear now and why i was quoting you Shinji? ...ok, hopefully we should both be on the same page now yes?

we all remember how fast SC2 game engine play was compared to SC4...
Yes. I do. SC2 was the slowest game that was ever released. Tetris moves faster. Mick/RTD were the best at spacing, poking, and turtling. X's step was great, but neithe were stepping X's 2k on reaction

Krayzie: You are correct. What you read is wrong. X's 2K can be stepped if you guess right to her left consistently. You have to know it's coming though, but it can easily be done by somebody w/decent step (Cervantes, Ivy, Hilde, X, Sisters, etc)

Xeph: where are you from and what is your connection like?..i will only play depending on how good a connection is... i prefer 5 bars mostly if i am to play...

Nori: lol, X was much faster than too but then again a lot of characters were, but yea, right on the nose about the character(s) step speed/size, actually, with them you can zig-zag step her all day to the left until of course like you mentioned about her 3a to k string..well that, 4+A and a,a string pretty much.

At the moment, I'm in Bakersfield California. I live in Reno Nevada though. I have a 4bar with Enkindu, who's in Florida, and a 4 bar with SU who is is New York. How about you?

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

hmmm, well, it might be the same with us then because I'm from Massachusetts, i can't do diddly on 4 bar connections :(

As far as this argument is concerned, all I see is this:

And because I was bored I came up with this:

@JustKill- Yeah I tried it earlier today and it can be done if pressed fast enough, however, in a situation in which you converse with someone discussing notations I would just stick to the basics as to not confuse anyone but I understand 100% what you are saying.

and Versailles(random numbers) is Trash.

and My Amy > Rigel's Amy and Rigel's Cass >>> My Cass. Savvy?

^^ Versailles connection with me is good, is mostly why i put him on my list... i wouldn't say he's trash...he is ok at the game though, he still has some things to learn.

The definition of fun

The people in PSN vids posted from gemini knight and/or X-box live heroes.
Or if you're those types that prefers to treat online and/or offline as a fun playground.
It really doesn't take much to be in fun tiers. =D
I don't think I fully comprehend, but here's my question then... what about those ppl like Nori who prefer non lag abusers as well as ppl who dedicate themselves to play offline competitively? Do you think that's not the definition of fun at all?

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

@YAF yes, one of the "universal" ways of typing the command out, but for the majority % of players here will/do understand that saying, a,k(no space in between which SHOULD specify that it follows the move directly afterwards)
I can't speak for the majority, all I know is if someone types "a,k" I will assume they mean "A, K." If you type "a,k" and I already know the move you're referring to is "A~K" I will assume you don't know what you're talking about and stop paying attention to you.

The Calibur notation conventions were chosen because they would remove all doubt as to what you are intending to explain. By not following the conventions you simply create more work for everyone else attempting to read your half-assed drivel.
