CEO FGC 2011 HYPE/MMs Thread

Ok, if it's on friday, I'll probably take the day off and head down there thursday night and head over to where ever it's being held on friday.
 
If either Krayzie or GO is reading this, I got a hotel bed with your name on it for the weekend if you come. Place I'm staying at is designed for like a family of 4 and I got debts to repay...

I'll Money match anyone in here as long as it's the greatest Soul Calibur of them all, Soul Calibur 2 lol. 3 and 4 just didn't keep me drawn in.

Anyways to answer questions, There's so much space in the Venue there will be casuals for SC4 all weekend(Do need help on copies of the game and systems). SC4 official start time will be sometime on Saturday afternoon. Still planning that all out depending on turnouts for the games and such. Sunday is clean up day to watch finals so not so much in terms of casuals on Sunday after like 4/5. I plan to stream the SC4 Final 4 on Sunday and top 8 for Tekken.

Say bruh, you owe me nothing. Sweets and I are still talking about what you taught us on this game and it helped us tremendously. For that we owe you. I'm still getting the money together for my plane ticket but once it comes through I'll hit you up. I appreciate it greatly. If by chance Krayzie goes crazy and is able to go by all means room him. I can always get something at the Sheraton.
 
Bring it. Bring anything Calibur related. We also need setups, the more setups we have, the more stations for casuals to be ran. I will be bringing an X360 and PS3, by the time June comes I should have my PS3 back. I found my old PS2, so I may look around for some old Calibur copies.

I can bring my 360 with cables and 3 controllers. All of it will be coming back with me this time, no wire left behind! LOL!
 
lol its no big deal, my $10 replacement cable has worked just fine. If its being put to use, I dont mind it being a community cable.
 
Quick update..

As Enkindu mentioned earlier, props to the J-Man for getting yet ANOTHER sponsor for CEO FGC 2011. Hori has jumped on and they're offering prizes for both Soul Calibur IV, and Tekken 6 Tournaments.. making this the most sponsored Namco Major Tournament in the US. Very good news for us Calibur-heads. Lot's of more details to come, I'm sure.

For the Capcom-junkies, CEO 2011 is the first Official US Major for SSF4AE.

With this morning's announcement direct from Capcom thatSuper Street Fighter 4 Arcade edition coming to the world as DLC(Downloadable Content) on June 7th, CEO is happy to announce that it will be the first Official Major to have AE. Some are fearful that a couple days worth of practice isn't enough but it will make the Tournament that more exciting to see new things as well as to help everyone Prepare for EVO 2011 in Las Vegas. As a reminder the System of Choice for SSF4AE and Marvel Vs Capcom 3 are Xbox 360.

Calling all Artists in the Orlando, Florida area with experience in video game character art to help create the official CEO 2011 Fighting Game Championships Poster for sale at the event in June. Put together by Alejandro "Dro" Morales, he's asking for the help of creative artists to create a poster to be used for prizes as well as sold with 100% of the proceeds raised by the sale of the poster to go towards the Red Cross in Aid of Japan's recent disasters.Winners and contributors to the contest will receive recognition at the event and through a final press release revealing the Final poster design before June 10th.
