same here actually, I used to have a big ass thick book full of calvin and hobbes comics, I wonder if I would still like them
 
im thinking about throwing a round robin tourney in long beach, just checking if people would be interested in it, if not we can always just do casuals, what do you guys think?

but ya basically i liked forced round robin because everyone has to play everyone, casuals i find u just end up playing a few people
 
mmmmm .... red robin ... -ahem-, yea I like the concept of round robin, but like revin, I prefer casuals though. Unless somehow make it round robin casuals?
 
I prefer the idea of having a cash pot since money makes you play harder. Doesn't have to be a lot either it could he $2 a person.

Yea like I payed $30 for SBO, I was disappointed in my performance. Money makes you have something on the line. I support this $2 round robin casuals. I mean, for me anything $5 and below sounds good.

another good suggestion, $5 round robin casual tourney is what it'll be, if there is a venue fee, ill pay out of pocket so u guys can keep the winnings, i dont give a fuck, i just want us to continue to enjoy this wonderful game, ill try to get into contact with Game Play, Long Beach some time this week to get details on this
 
Yea, same here, I feel like even with training and character knowledge, I won't really get anywhere without playing you guys (community as a whole). First foremost, you gotta have fun and win.

Dude it's pretty nice. People ogle me a lot but it's fun. The people who play are having a blast so it's really played back. Many jokes also. Gotta play more solid out here but it's pretty fun. No one wanted to bring a pro just have fun. So it's pretty fun. Their hide player is straight broken tier. He could of made. Evo top 8 easily. But yeah... play more.

YES, I have been playing quite a bit lately since I got my hitbox, since I got some interest / response in a round robin tourney, I will go ahead and try to schedule a date, it will probably be middle of August on a Saturday, how does August the 18th sound?
