Thanks to all those who came out.

Special thanks to:

Games On for the venue and displays!

Nate for helping and bringing all sorts of things!

Muse for helping run brackets!

It was our first tourney at Games On and I think we've learned a lot.

We'll definitely have the latency issue solved with HDMI cables next time.

I'm working on possible solutions to the wireless controller issues...either controller check in, house pads, or simply watching/making sure people know the proper procedure after a match is over.

Good stuff. AZ will be there to rep next time. We almost came this time.

Good thing you didn't, you should make the trip to NEC instead, which is always a quality event.

EDIT sorry thought I was still talking about SB3 lol. You're all still welcome at NEC though. =p

Great tourney venue. Glad we got to play BlazBlue and had the game files hosted over the network! (I wish)

Edit: Wow, I had a tough bracket after my first match. Rickstah was on FIRE and even if my Scrubitia managed to beat him, I'd have faced Link right after. But since I lost, I got to play Shauno's blazing Talim to complete my double elimination! You guys... >.<

Damn Kowtow quick with the anger hammer huh :P

Thanks to Binkley, n8, GamesOn and everyone that showed up. I bowed out 0-2 again for the millionth time but it was still fun :) Awesome showing by the placers, and some definitely tense moments sure to be remembered :D

How did Grand Finals go? Was it tight (as in close)?

iam glad that it was a great event up there at GAMES ON and thanks to n8 and the crew for doing it well. we will be up there to reck house again for the next tourney and competition was awesome up there!! thanks everyone!!

Not terribly pleased with my performance at this one, but it was still a good learning experience. I got really frustrated with MarkM's siegfried after he came back from a poke away from defeat in game 2 to win it, and I got impatient/predictable and lost game 3 badly. :/

I hadn't have a chance to play a decent sieg/talim yet, so that was a good eye opener.

that was my first tournaments, i dont own the game, i only play when i go to friends house, and i went with tiger and my5tical, lolz. had fun, great tourney!

It was a great tournament and went really smooth. Lots of good players. Hit up the San Diego thread if you wanna sesh.

Maybe now people will take us seriously..

Fun times had by all! Wish I could of got first but eh I fell for the 50/50 too many times. Can't wait for the next tourney. I'm glad the event ran so smoothly, much respect to the whole sd crew. Big ups to everyone who came in general. I need to practice against Sig now. I can't eat that 3b anymore times. Im with my homie above on when the next tourney is.

p.s. where are the videos posted?
p.p.s. I wish we could of gotten more casuals after the tourney. Wanted to see them MM's.

King Salmon/Tomahawk aka.... King Tomahawk

Grand Finals were close, Linc pushed it to the 2nd set.

Yeah the random seeding produced some interesting matchups (Linc vs. Tie round 1) but I generally go by random seeding unless you're matched with someone you play regularly. (Linc and Tie said they don't play each other regularly for example.)

Also, only 1st round matchup are changed, if you play your buddy in round 2+ that's tourney luck.

Regionals are going to be completely random though.

hey Binkley, i'm not sure if there was a mess up with the losers brackets but I don't think i've ever had to go the gauntlet (2 matches in a row i think it was) + two 3-5 finals sets back to back like that. You might want to space it out a bit next time
