Possession Cancel Throw

I seemed to have found some kind of glitch where you can cancel Natsu's PO rush into her 66B+G throw (I like to call it POCT).

It's interesting because normally you'd have to PO rush first before you can pull off the 66B+G command throw, but if you input 4 6 6 B+G, with B+G timed right before she gets that lightning animation in PO stance, the PO rush is canceled and she goes instantly into the command grab:



It works after any transition int PO, even after 214 raw.

It's pretty hard to do it consistently, but I believe with practice, it can add another layer to Natsu's mix-up game. I want to be able to get the exact timing down flawlessly, so if anyone is able to learn the timing better or can apply it well in a versus setting, please share your thoughts.

Isn't this in the movelist? Or am I thinking of the possession dash into the command throw?
 
In game practice mode shows a move with the input PO 4 66B+G, which is a grab after a possession rush. The vids I shot shows you can cancel the rush part and just instantly command grab out of PO.
 
I stumbled across this a few months ago. The nature of natsu po transitions made it kind of worthless in my eyes.

Bk knocks down
4a is usually far away and -4 on hit and all follow ups can be back dash tc'd
6a+b pushes out to far
66b4 knocks down and pushes out on block.

It's an interesting concept, but doesn't seem to have many practical applications.
 
I figure you'd find something like this kAb. Just didn't see this posted anywhere so I thought it'd be a cool thing to share.

I was pulling it off a lot against Rekki's Astaroth who has bad movement and can't deal with 4A too well. Other than that and maybe PO Mist silliness, it's probably not worth the execution demand in most high pressure tournament situations, as much as I want to discover cool shit with it.

But it looks really cool.
 
I think all you have to do is input 466B as fast as possible.
When you get PO B it was too fast or inaccurate, when you get POR into grab it was too slow.

It could be useful if you hit the opponent in the side with 6A+B or 4A, for example as whiff punishment after successfully sidestepping an attack.
Because a different angle results in a different pushback.
Haven't tested for POCT yet but for example when you hit FC 2A+B from the side A:6 will hit even in the middle of the stage (depending on character) and i think i had similar situations with POCT.

It's probably also character dependent in general.
 
It'll work pretty well while pressuring an opponent whose back is against the wall, since push back and back step wouldn't be a factor. Fighting against Natsu while your back is literally against the wall is already a tough thing to deal with.
 
It's a shame she can't get an A throw out of the instant PO cancel or any other regular moves besides 66B+G, otherwise this might actually be a really useful tool. Kind of a bummer because the foward dash in the 664 cancel out of PO is pretty unsafe :(
 
Very unsafe and useless.
A good thing about Posession Rush Cancel is that when you get interrupted while doing it, you don't eat Counter Hit like when you get interrupted during an attack.
You still eat "stance damage bonus" of +5% i think though but no counter hit stuns.

Also don't forget that it has Tech Crouch which can come in handy against high attacks.
