I've always played as Sophitia in the games, but obviously she's not around in SC5. Right to the point, what's the better option for a veteran Sophitia player? A lot of the moves I used as Sophie seem to be divided among her chaotic daughter. I was wondering which version of Pyrrha comes closer to that of her mother.

Thanks a lot, I'm trying to get into SC5 more.

I'd say Pyrrha is the closer of the two if I had to call it. She fills Sophie's slot as the straight-forward character with amazing basics. Omega is less conventional, but still fun and strong. Can't go wrong.

But the third option should be neither. I boycott your poll. :/

Imo Omega is the logical choice since she posseses the Sophie "special-movement" known as twin angel step. It´s called Double nemesis step in this game and makes her very Sohpie-ish.

I'd argue Pyrrha is the better character, especially if you're not too familiar with SCV.

As for your question... regular Pyrrha is far closer to Sophitia.

OMEGA HAS NO REASON TO EXIST OTHER THAN TO PLEASE PEOPLE WHO ENJOYED USING 236236B.

OTHER THAN THAT, REGULAR PYRRHA RESEMBLES SOPHITIA MORE THAN THIS IMPOSTER OMEGA.

At first, I always thought Pyrrha was closer to Cassandra simply based on the Angel Side Step, which Cassandra had, but after I remember the 236~4 hit and remembering Cassandra didn't have a stab unless it was 2B B, I thought Sophitia.

But you look at Pyrrha Ω, and you also see some moves out of Sophitia's books like the B+G B grab (I think that's it), and of course the 236236 stance.

So pretty much in my opinion I would say it is divided up between the two, but one requires a bit more skill than the other, and if your a veteran Sophitia player, one may stand out to you more than the other.

LOOK AT THE MOVES THAT THESE SO-CALLED VETERAN SOPHITIA PLAYERS USE WITH OMEGA: CASSANDRA'S 1K, BRAND NEW 236A, BRAND NEW 4B, SLOWER A, SHORTER A+B, 6K.

THIS IS NOT WHAT EARLY VERSIONS OF SOPHITIA WAS ABOUT. YOU ALL KNOW THAT 236236B IS THE ONLY REASON YOU PICKED OMEGA OVER PYRRHA. ANY RATIONALIZATION BEYOND THAT IS A LIE.

Whoooaa, slow down there, muffins.
Anyways I've been switching off between Pyrrha and Omega, but I think I've been finding myself leaning towards Omega. I guess I had the wrong mindset of finding something exactly like Sophitia, but maybe instead I should learn something new. Well, I guess Omega isn't really "new" but it's a change from her mother.

No, they're different moves. They just share the same animation.
Indeed, but saying it's a "BRAND NEW MOVE" makes every bit as much sense as saying Leixia's 3AA is a brand new move. They're just previously existing attacks moved to a different input either way.
