finally finished it yesterday and loved it! now i'm just gonna finish upgrading my ship and take a whack at the legendary ships. i tried the one in the top left corner (el impoluto, iirc) when i could consistently take down men-o'-wars and i got absolutely murderized. i skipped over your vids darkrythm, kinda wanted to try 'em spoiler-free a few times before checking them out.

i keep wanting to raise my wanted level to max just to spam the hunter ships for supplies, but i keep being stupid and dying while boarding lol. i think the highest i've raised my wanted level was to 4 Xs, then i get careless and accidentally jump off the top of the ship and lose half my health before eating a nice gun to the face.

i think the only thing i've been dissapointed about in this game are the craftable outfits. particularly the whale outfit, it just seems like a palate swap of the shark outfit. however i loved the feline pelt outfit, looks sick!

This game looks pretty good, I'll definitely get it when I get a Wii U.

How long is it?

Thought about getting this for PS3 then take that deal to upgrade to PS4 for $10 since launch titles seem pretty dry. But I think I will just get this for PC when it arrives. No real hurry to dive back into a long game like this.

I'm confused.

Well I'm kind of annoyed. Got it for the XB1 and there is a problem with the fleet minigame. Every time I try to activate it I get a "cannot connect to Ubisoft servers at the moment" message. I went to the forums and it turns out that it is a problem on both PS4 and XB1. They say to delete your friends list down to below 100 but I'm at 98 and it still isn't working. This kind of sucks since I can't complete the challenges and also I can't get the last upgrade (you get the treasure map to find the Elite Fire Barrel Storage from using the fleet). I've gotten all the other parts for the ship. Ubisoft says they are looking into the problem but I don't think they know what is causing it yet.

Goddammit Ubisoft, the fleet started working one night and I got all happy, did a bunch of fleet missions and cleared some waterways to make them safer for my merchant trips. But then the next morning- "Unable to connect to Ubisoft servers." FFUUUUUUU!!!!!
