Why did you choose your character?

Since Xianghua is no longer playable, Leixia is my main in SCV. I really wish Project Soul didn't get rid of Xianghua's :3::3::K::A: or her :A+K: moves though lol

Alpha Patroklos
Same reason: Since Setsuka is no longer playable and because Patsuka now uses the style. Alpha is alright (I heard he's better tier-wise, so it's not a complete loss), I just don't use him so often as Leixia. So that makes him my secondary.

Way back in Soul Blade I played Rock because as my 10 year old logic said "He is the biggest and has the biggest weapon. So he is the best" Just kinda progressed from there to Asta when I got SC for Dreamcast. I always messed around a bit with Voldo, Kilik and now Xiba but Astaroth just seemed so much cooler then all the other characters. Like everyone talking about how much they love Cassie or Sophi I hated them and thought they were unlikable and boring. I tend to pick the bigger titan like characters in every game I play though.
 
Voldo, largely because of watching @Enkindu play. And I always found him very unique, hes obviously very different from the normal samurai character like mitsurugi (no offense to those who play him, lol)

And algol because of his sick brave edge combos.

Siegfried/Nightmare was my choice for the previous games, but once I got into SC 5 I found them kind of boring to play personally.

Been having alot of fun with Zwei lately too.

Hilde:
Since SCIV, I always wanted to main Hilde since I like her character and fighting style. She is my main fighting character.


Elysium:
I like her to for being a female mimic character since i like to use all the female characters in this game most of the time and her special.
 
I picked Tira cause she blows a kiss when she taunts, and has a pet bird.

But I stuck with her cause she gets 90 dmg of a single launcher, and a 65dmg i12 punish, she also has her amazing pokes and throws. She has a great, safe, almost unseeable, half screen low in 236K BE and a huge amount of evasive options, she is a purely offensive powerhouse. That is why I play Tira.
 
When Soul Calibur 3 came out, I played Setsuka and Tira because they were harder to play. In Soul Calibur 4, I mained Setsuka. Then they took her out of SOul Calibur 5. So then I thought I'd play those new characters. I tried Viola because she was harder and weaker of the the two (Z.W.E.I. and Viola). And when I played her I LOVED it! She had such a unique style of fighting! So then I practiced and practiced and was able to execute these crazy moves! I play online all the time, but people are very against Viola players. But here is a list of the top 5 characters I play from the most to the least:

1. Viola
2. Ivy
3. Alpha Patrokolos (I miss Setsuka)
4. Pyrrha
5. Z.W.E.I.

muh talim and zas got removed from SC5 so all i was left with was raph and hilde. i decided to learn maxi since he's always been a character i've wanted to learn but never got around to doing so until 5 came out. it was tough at first getting used to all of maxi's stances and what does what after each move, but i eventually got the hang of him.

Hilde's quickly become one of my favorite characters in the whole game (even almost replacing talim at this point!) i played her in 4 so it was pretty much a given that i'd main her again in 5.it took me waaaaay too long to get used to new hilde, it wasn't until about this time last year that i decided to take my hilde play more seriously, and it's paid off a bunch after playing with @m216xlegendx , @JJrKing , and other hilde players online.

i sorta 3rd raphael, but mostly because i just dropped alpha and didn't really have anyone else that i really knew all that well.
 
I play Tira because I'm a sick individual lol.

I say that because I like her because of her split personalities. If she was a real person I'd marry both of her <3
