anyone got any ideas on how to make the things in cynthia's hair? i have everything else done, but this last part is pretty annoying.

I don't have a chance to get on until maybe tomorrow, but off the top of my head:

-It's not just a matter of using 1 extra on each side, you could try a 'pair item' (cat cat ears?) and spread them out so there's one on each side, so that when you use two sets, there's two thing's on each side.

-Just eyeballing the shape, you could either try two cat ears, spread them so 1's on each side, with the pointed end towards the head and angle properly; OR use two hearts and move the pointed ends into the head if need be. Then use a pattern to get that singular stripe. (Either the gradient scales so that one color is 'pinched down', or the red/green/purple stripes, or the red/white stripes).

Le_Bello: I tried, but all the parts that match the picture clash with the hood cape, despite there being no conflicts with the rococo skirt, which clips like mad :/

Very competent recreation. If you have a third equipment slot, you could make that white helmet ridge with a halo or helmet ornament or something.
