The most stressful moment you've ever had in any game.

When you seek a challenge, do you try to make the difficulty harder for yourself or easier?

  • Easier (It's that hard)

The newest Devil may Cry on Dante must difficulty. This was extremely hard when I got to the elevator level. Nothing but Dream Runners & and countless wave of witches and random monsters. This part of the story took me a good hour to beat. Fighting Vergil on Hell and HELL mode was also stupid too. You get three golden orbs while vergil hailing his light sword projectiles at you. Did I mention you get hit once you die instantly by EVERYTHING ! You have to complete the whole story mode like that.

I found Ninja Gaiden 1 be the hardest one out of the xbox trilogy. I haven't played Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge yet but I hear it's pretty hard.

I agree. Dismemberment made NG2 easier than NG1. I haven't played NG3 RE either so I can't say.

Modern Warfare 3

Never again.

That was the only time I actually screamed at my television in rage. It's also why I never use a mic anymore.

Halo 3, Cortana on Legendary. I hated that level alone.
Isn't that the one where you go rescue her in a flood level? I remember that shit, I hated that map, until I found a Needler.
I had sooo many problems with Nightfall.
Did you check back on Nightfall after getting the latest update?

Apparently that shit must have been too easy or something, & now there's a difficulty setting added to Solo & Custom only. Hardcore is the last difficulty; in hardcore mode, the number of aliens, alien damage, meteors & self destruct aliens, have all been increased with down time after completing hives decreased, & Hunters & Scorps are more frequent. That's not all too, the challenges you do per hive on hardcore is the only skill point your given. So if you don't complete the challenge, you don't get any skill points. Explosive rounds have also been nerfed. The blast radius is smaller now & the blast radius doesn't deal as much damage anymore. I'm like "Alrighty then..... As if this fucking map wasn't hard enough!"

I swear, I don't think devs ever test their shit out before releasing anything. Not just that regular testing shit, but I mean that in depth hardcore testing shit. Like you know how I have the handguns relic active, right? & I'm using .44 magnum & Tank class. They just give you what they have & say good luck completing it. Knowing me though, I'm probably still going to be a persistent dumbass & still beat it. I can't seem to ever stop, for some reason. I'm always moving up until I finally have succeeded. If you ever try it, Ish. Let me know how your doing.

Doing the no kill run in Dishonored.
Alright, maybe "stressful" isn't the right word, because it was only stressful in the first two missions when I didn't have the hang of it.

A better example is when I tried to assassinate the Lord Regent with almost no ammo, health, or mana potions on my first playthrough. Somehow, I was able to do it after a lot of trial and error.

My most stressful moment.. I have two of them I am willing to share.
First one, has to be doing the Dragovian Trials on Dragon Quest VIII and trying to beat the Dark Steel Dragon. It was so stressful because I didn't know if he was going to kill Jessica off who was my buffer, or Angelo who was my healer or Yangus and my hero who were the only ones who had the Critical Hit moves that could deal damage to the damn thing.
Lastly, trying to beat Yiazmat on FF XII was so damn crazy. My 3 main characters, (Vaan, Fran and Ashe,) were only LV 77 and I had such a hard time trying to make sure my gambits were set up right and knowing where to put on the armor that halved wind damage when Yiazmat used Cyclone or reviving someone when he insta-killed them. That and trying to make sure my other party members were all the same level as my three mains (which they were,) and bring the other three back to life if they all died. And THEN having to restore all my buffs on my main party then making sure Decoy stayed on Vaan... Phew. Can I finish yet?? Hahaha

My most stressful moment is usually when I finally think IF THIS IS ANOTHER FUCKING ZUBAT, THIS GAMEBOY IS GOING STRAIGHT OUT OF THE WINDOW.

Another stressful moment of mine occurs in the high and G rank quests of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Imagine this: you and your friends go out a hunt for a certain monster. You find the monster and start fighting it...

...and then, out of nowhere... Deviljho shows up! And his theme overrides the current battle theme!

Deviljho can appear in any location at anytime, so come prepared with some dung bombs.

Don't know what a Deviljho is? Here's a video to give you an idea.
