I've made this thread for 8WAYRUN members to publicly ask each other questions. You can even ask questions for anyone to answer. I'm open to questions as well. I'll even ask questions of my own. Remember, to gain the attention of any specific person(s) you want to ask, be sure to tag them using "@".

For example: @HydroJamesAqua.

I posted the thread here because I figured that most of questions asked will be related to games we play.

First question...

How many of you thought about buying the console you didn't own just to play with more people?

I thought about buying an Xbox 360 just to fight more members of 8WAYRUN, as some of them are mostly, if not only, active on Xbox Live. For various reasons, I'm having a difficult time deciding whether or not it's worth it... Is there anything the 360 can offer that the PS3 does not?

Reasons to get an Xbox360

-Less disconnects on SC5

-Better overall online interface, party chat, adding friends and pming, etc, etc

-Free games with gold, 2 free games each month, usually one of them being a fairly mainstream game

-Console exclusive games

-You get to play vs me
 
Why would you want a 360 when i'm in it?

I put some clothes on briefly for a few good people, i.e. shiny
 
Speaking of console debates, what do you guys think would be a better buy, XBO or PS4?

I like my 360 so I have no need to get a new console but if I had to pick one it would be the ps4. I've heard pretty positive things about it.
 
Maybe I'm just becoming an old geezer, but I honestly think that games these days are getting too good. The graphics alone are mesmerizing, and the amount of time investment one requires into these new RPGS is astounding.

When games become too good, you play them too much, and they ruin your life. So my question is this: (not aimed at any particular person),

Do you ever feel guilty playing games for extended periods of time? Do you ever feel the need to "do something better with your time"? Do you feel like you would have ended up a better and more productive adult if you never got into gaming the way you did? And lastly, do you feel like video games never allowed you to develop proper social skills?

For me video games is a drug. I know they're bad for me but I just can't stop. The quality of games these days makes them so damn addictive I swear. Back in the day you played pacman for 20 minutes and you were done. Bethesda games in particular are designed to suck you in the abyss of endless questing.
 
I barely play games aside from SCV so I can't really call it a hopelessly addictive hobby.
 
I feel you can play as long as you can properly balance your free time and responsibilities.

@Jaxel, I've heard that you left some other Soul Calibur fansite to start this one for some reason. Would you please explain in greater detail?

I hope I'm not being insensitive about this...

I would like to make more videos like this, but it's hard to find good fails. I don't want be alone when it comes to these kinds of videos.
