Retro's rCaS

I decided to give Dragon Ball characters another try. Here's Yamcha from the first series.

With his hair, I couldn't find a male hairstyle like Yamcha's, so I tried using special equipment. So far, I'm using a Turtle shell and a feather to extend the hair, but it ends up making the top hair look too bright in this post.

Here's Piccolo from DBZ.

@DarkNemeZis

Thanks
Your Goku and Vegeta are great! I like the way you found a way to make sayian armor with mostly a pattern and stickers. It seems like color was more useful than shape in that case. :)

Here's a little update of what I posted in other threads.

I added a honeypot to my CaS of Winnie the Pooh. In battle, it looks like he dips honey during every sword move.

Love the Zelda. Really clever how you made that tiara. If you have a third special equipment slot, add a halo or other shiny object to make a jewel. Or the horn/eye protector SpecEq for that pointy part in the middle. Maybe put some pocket stickers on the undershirt to make the corset.

Using the Kittymeow head, I tried a new approach to making Coco from Crash Bandicoot 2. The hard part was making her large and complex hairstyle from scratch.

This is my quick attempt to make a CaS of Big Bird. To give it a fuzzy look that covers most of the body, I tried using a rubber unitard with the European 22 pattern.

Jasmine is beautiful and i love that arabic hat, very stylish and clever how you built those designs.
Sure, they could be stellar with some more texturing, refining, and sticker work, but they still made me smile, which is lot for an old and bored CAS fart like me :)
You and Dark are really good in the RCAs goofiness department, and this is a compliment, because doing this always requires a solid technique and a lot of thinking outside the box !
Keep it up...

Playing against Darknemesis a few times, i also noticed the inevitable : meaning that sometimes goofy RCAs actually look significantly better on pics than in-game due to lighting or clippping anomalies, or just before the pics are taken in an angle that doesn't show the back of the CAS etc.
Which is the opposite as (photo)realistic CAS, who usually look much better/crispier and more charismatic in-game (at least if you are on xbox)
Your artwork is still highly commendable and awesome in its own way...
