In that case:
These guys were me experimenting with the body proportion options. I broadened the red oni's shoulders to try and make him look more ripped. Also, the blue oni was me trying to work at making muscular women, her thighs in particular. I wanted to make her look like she could crush a watermelon between them.

My vote goes to @CloverGnG's red oni. @HolyCarp's gargoyle is well crafted and creepy, but something about the onis' old school appeal takes the cake on this one.

Awesome, thanks for the votes! :D Sorry for taking a while to start this up again. I'm not too sure why there weren't so many entries that last time round, I really liked Quinion's theme as well. Since it was quite a broad topic, I'll try going with a slightly more specific theme in the hope that it'll motivate a few more people to participate. So the theme is...

The challenge is to design a character based on any card from a deck of playing cards.
e.g. The Queen of Hearts, The Jack of Spades, The Joker. Hell, if you think you can create The 7 of Diamonds, I won't stop you! Whatever suits you.
Wanna try your hand at this contest? Think your CaS can win the hearts of the audience? Who knows, you might just ace the competition. And if you don't like my theme, deal with it.
