Shouts to everyone who chilled with me and played vs me, this weekend away was something I desperately needed. I'm back on PSN in some limited capacity, and hope to fully get back into my shit by Oct 1st.

I hope that some people will be able to make GUTS at Foxwoods Sept 19-21, otherwise I'll see everyone at NEC.

This tourny was really awesome. PW wins (I predicted this I swear). It was really cool to meet a lot of you at SJ and I had fun playing casuals with you guys and learned a lot. (And shoutouts to watching some hilarious SCIV matches with Hilde, thanks Ramon and PW Kappa). I missed out on Top 16 this time, but I'm motivated and I'll be back at NEC

Are there replays on youtube already?

Also, SCV was the fifth game with most entrants at SJ8 :o

One of the things I've found is that a lot of people feel obligated to spend most of their time on SF and Marvel because it's "The Thing To Do". That doesn't mean they don't like 3D fighters persay, but its a different skillset and they are not nearly as confident at them.

So when it comes time to drop money on a game you hardly play, but enjoy, most people will just pass. It's sad, but true. And when entry is free, we get wonderful turnout because everybody who enjoys the game will sign up in a heartbeat with no pressure, or feeling like it's a bad deal.

I'm probably just going by crazy talk but I think it might behoove 3D fighters to adopt some kind of system for payout similar to how some of the DoTA pots work. Meaning stream monsters and players who are interested in supporting the scene basically just donate to the pot leading up to the tournament. You would be shocked how many people are both employed, and highly generous when it comes to such things. Then we just make registration free, and hey.... fun times for all.
