Would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

Your chances of survival are excellent. you know quite a bit about the undead and your physical and mental abilites are way above average. This is probably just another day in your life,and it will be like a walk in the park. You probably have coutermeasures for the first outbreaks, can help more survivors that you can count and can develop a cure in three days tops. Because you are the god damn BATMAN!!!

Everyone underestimates zombie apocalypse. People think they're gonna turn into cross bow guy from walking dead. when in reality you're gonna be in the corner of the room paralyzed and sniffling because its night and you can't see.

People overestimates zombie apocalypse. People think they're gonna turn into cross bow guy from walking dead. when in reality Zombies are slow and stupid humans incapable of solving even the most simple of puzzles that can only spread their virus through biting people. They'd be lucky to infect even 100 people, let alone start an apocalypse :3

Well it's fiction. Undead and rotting flesh would make a zombie unable to move. The fact there is no blood pumping through it's veins, no nutrients or water intake, and no oxygen intake. A zombie wouldn't be able to do anything. All these things attribute to a working nervous system, brain function, and muscle function. Without proper muscle function, zombies would be harmless.

Also a fun fact, brains are one of the least nutritious parts of the body. Strictly eating brains would be quite pointless.

Mange is probably the closest anything will really get to zombies.
 
Well if rabies evolved to be fast and rapid, we'd probably see something similar to a zombie apocalypse. Only difference is they would be fast and unrelenting lol.
 
Sometimes I think zombie apocalypse is favored by pop culture because deep down, some people actually want it to happen. Subconsciously or consciously they want to forget all the rules and structure society has and replace them with the simple looting and killing it strongly forbids. it really reveals something dark about us in general, the fight for earth's resources humanity has been for millions of years, and how we without parsimony might end.

The slow zombie is more deadly than you think. A good slow zombie is stupid strong and when it grabs you it doesn't let go for anything. They are also tanky you're not getting his brain with one strike and that's the only thing you can do to kill them. You also underestimate how much fatigue your weapon will cause you after a good 10 minutes of constant use. The slow zombie is most dangerous in group. Because you will not pass them if they block you off. So if you're cornered you're fucked basically. Slow zombies also gang up on doors and easily break them down since they never rest and don't scared.

The fast English zombie. Is a cunt as well, since they sprint at 20 miles per hour and rip you to shreds. They aren't stupid strong but they don't scared so they have a decent amount of strength. Since these aren't traditional zombies and more 'rage infected' humans. They can be taken down with most types of normally fatal injuries, including starvation.
 
A zombie in no way can be tougher than a human. I mean, it's a human body. It'd be no harder to kill one of them than it would be anyone else, just remember to go for the brain stem or the cerebellum. Stebbing a zombie in the forehead probably won't stop it from eating your face.

pretty much this. they're not exactly the toughest monster in the manuals what they have is numbers. carpet bombing the infested places would stop them from spreading better than most think.
 
Ok, how about surviving the D&D troll apocalypse? If you cut one in half, both halves regenerate into new trolls, and the only way to kill a troll is to burn it.
 
Quite obviously your contain one, cut it many times and use dark magic to mind control them. You need two success rolls in order to add a troll to your repertoire.
 
If it's like in the Walking Dead end of season 2
where the Walker virus seems to be airborne and everyone has it and everyone turns into a Zombie on death
that would be a huge pain in the ass.

PS. Fun Fact: Walkers in german are translated as "Beisser" (biter)
