Meanwhile, I'm still stuck in X trying to figure out who the last one or two or even three Pokemon I want on my team. Delphox, Gogoat, Sylveon, are my mainstays, but I rotate in Noivern, Goodra, Pangoro, Aegislash, and a few others. Yet I can't decide who to stick for the final fights, not to mention i've treaded through the entire game without using a Mega. I really like the Legendaries in this one (Diancie and Xerneas especially), but I really shouldn't use them... Or rather, use Xerneas for this final route to the elite 4.

I can attest to Noivern and Pangoro, though you really need to get some good TMs on them as their movesets are a bit lacking.
My only regret is that I used Helioptile over Aegislash. It's a cool 'mon but it's slow and not very good. Surf was nice though I guess.
 
I ended up using both Pangoro, Aegislash, and Helioptile/heliolisk for most of. Y journey, but since they ended up sharing weaknesses with other members of my team, I've been pulling them out for other members.

I was thinking of a water type, ice type or some other good Pokemon, just not sure what.

Clawitzer is a cool Water type, pretty underrated imo. The ice fossilmon is popular too.
 
Yeah, I have both of those too, but they're both special focused so I felt like there was too much overlap, plus the rock/ice has way too many weaknesses.
 
I think I will shut down my internet for the next week in order to avoid all the spoilers.

because in Europe it comes out on the 28th.... T_T
