Can we get front page writers?

Well one of the reasons I put the "Author Byline" system into the new article system was a way to promote front page writers. People being able to promote themselves seems to be a bigger incentive for a lot of people.
 
Can't say I ever use the front page. My bookmark takes me straight to the forum. There's nothing on the front page that would be superior than going straight to the forum.

The front page is merely a highlight of what's in the actual forums. There is no detriment for front page articles/news, only advantages.
