Here's @Le_Bello's creation, Lucia, which I've recreated for him with a few minor tweaks. Just to clarify, any votes for this character will go to Le_Bello rather than me. I think she's supposed to be a naval captain. Did you have any character/profile notes? It'd be lovely to know a bit more about her.

Hi, i apologize mate, especially with your nice move towards Le Bello recreating his CAS, but i wouldn't even dare put those lovely ladies in harm's way on the battlefield, so my vote sticks with the muddy cannon fodder grunt from Freemeal, mostly because it screams military to me even though the execution could be further improved.
There is something slightly off with the face preset for military girls as well, i would have gone for the stern faced ones for more credibility :)

I don't expect any vote for my oldies from a few pages back, sadly :(

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOKIT THAT. You're too good Bruce, too damned good! (Votes don't count for me, I refuse, look how much BETTER he made her!)

And uh, info wise I don't have much, she was a feared pirate-turned naval commander, I was gonna give her a more piratey second outfit and then never got around to it.

Though my vote goes to the grenadier. I love her.
 
My vote goes to @VILARCANE's arctic warfare Ivy. The fur motifs, pale colors, and camo patterns make for a directionally strong and unique design.

@FreeMeal's soldier is also a nice design. expertly grimed up and cool sepia tone.

@Francis's Lucy is also lovely. I like the before/after aspect. Storytelling is always a plus.

@Le_Bello: Im glad you like her. I think the short hair suits the while former pirate thing. I couldn't tell if the original had a necklace or not, so I gave her a compass/necklace, which should help her navigate and stuff too. And then add alotta tiger stripe patterns to grunge it up.

As for the lack of stern faces, http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/12/world/cnnphotos-female-peshmerga-fighters/index.html. They look pretty chipper to me.

Voting ends on Thursday night (for the usual 3-day deadline). We'll have another challenge in place by the weekend if things go smoothly.

Aw man, I thought that I might have gotten my first submission in with this last contest! Oh well, I guess that shows what procrastination does for you.
My vote goes to Vilarcane's Spetsnaz Ivy as well, mostly due to the subtle details with the frost that make it so believable.
 
I am confused, who's the winner ? I am cool with brucege posting a challenge but i got a nice idea for the next one, one very universal, one which will nurture your creativity

How nice of you again...I propose a very simple theme yet one where ExEq n stickers could do wonders...Food !
Could be a Chef, a waitress, a big fat gluton...Just has to be a food themed CAS with at least 1 food related ExEq gimmick...It is a very bon theme that is très francais n'est il pas ? Bon appetit les amis ! :)
