Bloodborne in two weeks

Burial Blade looks pretty cool for PvP. The huge range and circular move set makes it pretty intimidating to fight against.

I just platinum'd Bloodborne...

I loved almost everything about the game. If you asked me a few days ago, I would have told you the game was fantastic. If you asked me today, after I've played 10 hours of chalice dungeons for this platinum... I would tell you the game is complete garbage.

Seriously, the chalice dungeons are the worst idea in the entirety of the Souls series. Its completely antithetical to everything the Souls series is about and straight up ruined the game for me. If Bloodborne 2 comes out, and the platinum is hidden behind 10-15 hours of chalice dungeons again, I will probably not be getting it.

I would rather they took the resources, time and money, they spent on the chalice dungeons and focused their efforts on extending the main game experience. I have platinum'd every Souls game on release now.

Jaxel, I'm guessing you waited until everything else was done before going into the Chalice dungeons. That was probably your problem. They weren't designed for that. They're a nice little departure from the main game that, level wise you should start doing around level 30 or so. I mean you get your first chalice after beating BSB which is really early in the game, and the difficulty of that chalice is comparable.

Errrr, I guess then I should get there, because I'm around lv 60 and didn't step on a chalice dungeon yet.

In a sidenote, Rom the vacuous spider almost made me break my tv, I swear after two days stucked there I was about to make fly my controller XD

See, Rom was weird for me. My first play through(str build) it took 2 tries for me to kill him. One to learn the fight and one to actually kill him. My second play through(skill build) took like 10 tries to finally take him down. A lot of speed runners I've been watching the last week or so say that Rom will make or break your run because it's all RNG. Sometimes he'll play nice and you'll get through him real quick because you'll get lucky and things will go your way, other times he'll just screw you for awhile before letting you move on.

I'm about to get to him again on another str build I did, so we'll see how it treats me this time. I had figured the reason for the difference between my two runs before was just my build and weapon choice but we'll see when I go to fight him on this last character. Will probably do it tomorrow night.

In my case I have a nice damage, I just needed to get close to him 3 times to kill him, the problem was basically that even with 20 vit I died every time in 1 hit by things I didn't even see, may be I was taking down one of the spiders and other (out of camera) sprayed me with the venom, or I was hitting Rom and a spider fall over me (not the bomb drop, that small jumpt they do) and killed me in one shot.

And when I finally got him we died at the same time, man, I swear when the game loaded and I saw I didn't have the souls I almost break my controller in a half. Is not that is much souls, it is enough to level one level but still...luckly they were on the lake so I didn't have to kill someone. XD

Honestly, in general the game was very easy. There were few bosses that I would actually consider hard... such as the Ihyll Pthumerian Descendant.

Rom was a very easy boss... just keep circle strafing and you can never get hit by his meteors. Dont even need to dodge.

lol haven't touched Chalices and I'm like level 80 and about to finish my first playthrough. Its all well and good trying to be a mysterious game but all you needed was the Doll to be like "Yo do a chalice...."

The only bosses I found difficult so far were Pthurmerian descendant, Abhorrent Beast, and probably Ebrietas because of that tackle.

Also Stake Driver best weapon
