Still we've seen a lot of returners recently so maybe a brand new character.

Probably Akuma too, maybe.
 
We should be getting two characters reveals within the next ten days. One at the Dubai event and one at TGS. I'm guessing the one on Ono's screenshot is a newcomer that'll be announced first and then we'll get a veteran in the following days.

We can even hope for 3

1 at Dubai and 2 at TGS, for japan is the biggest event i will like to see them go big there

This could happen but looking at the sheer amount of events left this year I doubt it. I mean we have

Dubai Game Show
TGS
Brazil Game Show
NY Comic Con
Paris Games Week
Capcom Cup
PSX

And from what I've heard we'll have the entire base roster revealed by the end of year with the first batch f DLC characters announced early next year.
 
So tomorrow's the big reveal.
It'll be my first time at a big gaming convention. Pretty exciting. ^^"

I assume that's Dubai time, so 8 AM W. DC time for the Sony PS ME Stage presentation, and 9 AM for the Pluto Games Stand.

Also more important it confirm that Ken Bogard was legit on new chars too, Rashid-Laura-Zen

It kinda give me more hopes to see the Gief take one of the 2 classic spots, none of the newcomers seem the HUGE grappler (no, Birdie it's not) SFV still need, and the alpha blue spot will likely end up to some shitty schoolgirl (probably Karin) at TGS

Also if really we get a Zen from India maybe Dalshim got a successor and will be one SF2 candidate out of the race to get one of the two green spots.
If Karin is in also Fei Long's chances will go down as we will get a rekka in the first 16

My bet (and TBH hope) is Zangief - Sagat, with the second more focused on muay thai and less shoto.
Both very popular SF2rs
Boxer will be a good candidate too (specially being a Shadaloo King), but i hope Dudley will be the boxing char (likely as future DLC)
Guile at some point will be in, but to counter the blond horde and because actually fuck Guile, i hope he will appear later as DLC
