raphs 236B is good IMO

i dont care what you say dully,me,and miko tested its its almost %100 safe

has amazing range and damage
 
I really don't think it's safe, I want some solid -on hit numbers for proof of this. I've yet to be seriously punished doing it, but I remember getting poked from it.

Yes though, 236B is the only move Raphael has that keeps characters like Astaroth and Kilik in check at long range. Though they'll just constantly sidestep once they figure it out.

It's -12. There's stuff that's guaranteed, but not a whole lot. The biggest thing from there would be Setsuka's umbrella.
 
Go figure Setz -_-....I'm wondering how hard she could possibly be to main, I mean, all you really need is JF's with her right? After that it's all "stand there and wait to punish" I mean, I DON'T SEE what everyone sees about Setsuka's difficulty, her gameplan is so amazingly simple.....

because i can't abuse 44B

thats what makes setz hard IMO

i just poke around till i see her go for a short range move then get 44B
 
I can't get the file to open for some reason, I need alittle information.

Does A+B, A TC? what are the frames? 236B TC's but it's frames are garbage, 4B obviously, what will TC Amy's 6B series?

What's Every Raphael move that is + on block?

VE A +2
SEB A +1
SEA A +0

....that it?
 
that's it if you don't count some entrances into prep (3, 44A, SEB at 0,0,2 respectively).

WS B against Amy is fantastic and 4B works ok if you time it right. A+B A may TC for the second hit, but I'm not sure.

Ok say you do 66A+B against amy (-2 on block) and she retaliates with 6BBB. Doing a 4B would mean a clash with her second hit (which means 6BB amy hits at i11 and i23ish) and you'll get hit by her 3rd hit.

However, 236B's TC frames are just timed right so you can do it after a blocked 66A+B to go under her 6BB (but the animation shows amy stabbing raph but he doesn't flinch lol)

The fact that raph has 3 horizontals that are + on block (or at least neutral) is very surprising

The problem with these moves are 1) duckable and punishable on reaction 2) take a long ass time (and can be sidewalked) and 3) can be stepped

I can't access that spreadsheet/wtf ever Kolhell did, and I need information about prep transitions.

All the prep Transitions, how - are they on block if you opt NOT to prep?

44ab is neg -16......so you have to risk prep off it.....sigh.....

CAN ANYONE BREAK DOWN, FRAME, IMPACT(ACTUAL TELEPORT WHERE YOU'RE EVADING MOVES), RECOVERY FRAMES, THE ENTIRE MOVE, OF Raphael's reverse teleport(4A+K? Can't remember directional notation on this)

It's obvious, no argument, that teleporting in place has ZERO application...and it's more then obvious that raph NEVER wants to teleport in the enemies face(Namco wtf were you thinking.....)...but his back teleport I want to see if I can bust it out on "cute" occassions, and just have the frame knowledge to know when I can get flashy with it.

This isn't anything competitive...this is just about knowing it's there if I wanna be stupid. I'm bored with Typical Raphael anyway....

Greatly appreciated, whoever knows....
