I did like that design, but that was her after only having Soul Edge for a short while and this is 17 years later.
Siggy had the big arm after only like 3 years between SE and SC1. So even if Sophie has a greater resistance to it's effects, 17 years is a looong time.

Also, it would be interesting if Cassie had SC, but in her ending she didn't hesitate at all in destroying both swords, so if they made her wielding SC it would be a bit contradictory.

I agree! it is very confusing, especially because they take things, and change things from the previous game's ending at will to suit their new plot. xD
