I haven't touched Calibur IV since I played V at NEC, and I don't intend on going back to it less than 2 weeks before release. If you want to see me in action, come to Winter Brawl. You should know by now that Online play will give you absolutely zero gauge on how anyone plays for real. I would love to get some games in with you in person, though. Maybe even a friendly money match if you show up. See you there?

It may be what it is, but very few tournament players take it seriously due to the inconsistencies. I don't feel I really have to prove to you that I can 'live up to my ego' by demonstrating my knowledge of online shenanigans. It's a lose/lose situation for me. Sorry dude. Indeed, it is not all about reaction time. But if I get thrown, I break the correct throw, and it still does not register due to lag, that match is already illegitimate. This happens far too often online, and good players recognize that, so they don't bother with it. If the netcode were better, and lag wasn't so horrible, maybe more would play online like they do for Street Fighter.
What Calibur IS about is decision making, and if I make a decision, and that decision is affected by lag inconsistencies, the match becomes useless. I may as well not even be playing.
I am not the best player int he world... But let me tell you something bro! There is a guy i recently played and befriended - his PSN is low771 or sumething!
