So I have this theory. The UK has a reputation for having lots of rain, fog, and generally being grey and miserable. You also have a reputation for tea. It is culturally ingrained in the phenomenon of "tea time".
My theory is this: your whole country loves tea, and probably has a boiling pot of water on every stove, every day, at 4:00 PM. This is contributing a LOT of water vapour to the atmosphere, which possibly then results in clouds, precipitation, fog, and generally gloomy, crumby weather.
Basically, tea is probably responsible for your bad weather.
........nice theory... but no... some of us hate tea, and 'tea time' is another way of putting 'dinner time'.
If your theory was right, then I'm missing a nice cuppa of something I loathe with the family since so I'm sitting at college till 04:45pm and it take me 30 minutes to get back home... tea sucks... but crumpets are fooking amazing!
