It's always like that. Playing with pressure is a lot different compared to playing without pressure.

My personal philosophy is... If you don't care about the outcome, then every match is a casual match, and you can play your best.

Pretty hard to apply though...

It's all about experience!

The more you play in tournaments, the more the difference between your tourney and casual play will shrink.

Yeah that's right, you gotta be prepared to lose all your matches pretty badly. So long as you're not worried about the result, you can focus on the actual match.

But everyone plays better in casuals. Very rarely do you get a tournament match where both players play their very best.

I will definitely be attending more so hopefully the nervousness will fade a bit.
