JG has tremendous advantages as everybody knows it "gives" frames and meter but I think the best application of it is that it nullifies effects of moves that, when blocked, would force crouch, knockback, or stun.
As a Pyrrha main, JG is almost a fourth to a third of my game. Almost any JG'ed...
If I may make a small correction/clarification...
Wrong timing with extra tap --> guarded on the extra tap, no JG. Gets hit on frames between the wrong timing JG attempt (guard button released window) and the extra tap.
I know this all too well from being a victim of it so much in the past.
OOF let me at you. I think I'm a lot better since you last fought me. Gimme a time that isn't this Wednesday and I'll be there!
also I don't want your money
Parts are same quality but I prefer the Hori based on the generous wrist space and the flip cover start button makes me feel like I'm initiating a fancy launch sequence.
Fish for 44B
Don't random CE
Don't 236A,A BE, better off saving that meter for GI or opponent grounded 66B BE
Don't drop air combos
Vary your attack patterns more
Practice Just Guards
Not trying to sound overly critical, but since you asked...
Will there be a continuation of this which discusses its meter building, frame advantage strategy, and nullified pushback properties?
Those are really what make JGs shine
