I updated the list to make it up to date with the current version of the game.

1AA/11_77AA can be punished with 66B. Can no longer interrupt with 9K (will whiff). Can use 4K instead (the attack will whif at range but you are...
Unlike in the previous games Maxi is a real threat this time around, and if you don't know what he can do, he will destroy you. This thread will teach you how to deal with him if you're playing Pyrrha O. If you're unfamiliar with his stances, Belial made an excellent thread where he described...
I can agree that if you only look at it from this point of view, the reward is not very good. On the other hand, there are other aspects of backstepping, such as creating space. For a character like nightmare, who has good range and excels at whiff punishing, it is a very good tool to use...
As you know, movement in SCV has been improved significantly compared to SCIV (backstep and sidestep). And fighting an opponent who constantly backdashes to avoid your mixups and to create space can be very annoying when you play a short range character like Pyrrha O.
What many players do...
Thanks for pointing that out. I only tested NS A against an empty GS after 1A, in which case it actually does hit him. Should have tried it against the other moves as well.
I tested against Natsu And Pyrrha O since they seem to have a tiny hit box. However, I did some quick testing just now against some other characters and it does seem to be character based. For example, 3B hits all rolls after DNS B4 vs Natsu, but Ivy can roll back to avoid it (which is a bit...
At first I thought that Pyrrha O's wakeup was really bad, it seemed like she didn't have any good ways to put pressure on her opponent after a KND. However, it turns out that her wakeup game is pretty decent (still bad compared to Mitsu, but not as bad as I thought).

Yes you're right, the TC window is very small. But like you said, in some specific situations it makes all the difference. The most obvious example is against Raphs Prep stance, her CE will TC Prep B and interrupt everything else.

I'm surprised that no one has started working on a punishment list yet since it's so important to take as much free damage as possible when playing as Pyrrha Ω. If your punishment is not on point, it will be very hard to win with her. Lucky for you, I started working on a punishment list when...
Or they can just step PO K and punish Natsu with pretty much anything. 4A+B4 is in no way as overpowered as some people claim it to be. Also, it is possible to punish PO transitions with CE unless Natsu use PO BE to evade it.
If you're having problems stepping the second hit, you can buffer 8wr left moves after you block the first hit, it's easy. 66B BE is very gimmicky, won't be long until people start stepping the second hit.
Believe what you want. I'm just telling you how it really is, but it's up to you if you believe it or not, I couldn't care less. Ignorance is a bliss I guess.....
Interesting how this turned into a discussion about tiers and who has the best (block)punisher in SC4....... The only thing I will say about it is that TAS B is an overrated move, it's good for whiff punishing/punishing certain moves on block, and sometimes good for catching backstep, that's it...
Hey. Here are some recent matches between me and Kvalsternacka. Nothing too serious, just some casuals we decided record.
