Decided to log back in after seeing the announcement. I became inactive due to there being no SCV scene in my area, especially since my area is dominated by Street Fighter and Tekken. However, I am very hyped for SCVI. Kind of sad that it's a SC reboot of sorts (I'm assuming), because I kind of...
Lost Swords made no sense whatsoever. Why? Because the main point of the game was to create characters and collect things right? Well, those things you collect actually had elemental properties and increased stats. Why would anyone want to just play AI all day when they finally find a...
I would hate for the style to be taken away. I know people have lost their characters and styles, but I think Namco brought back the styles they felt were most popular in SCV. The reason I love Viola now is because her style is so different from the rest of the cast. Plus, she has an interesting...
#NoBridgetNoBuy
No, seriously. Bridget was the ONLY character I bothered to use and learn in GG because he was the most interesting character in the series (and that's saying a lot in a game like GG). But when I found out he wasn't coming back, but a character like May was, I was furious. But I...
This is why nobody is rushing to get current gen systems, except for maybe a Wii U, which is nothing more than a slightly powerful Xbox 360 and PS3. What is with all these "remastered" ports that developers keep giving us? Where are the NEW games?!
Thank you for the advice! I've been watching Viola videos on YouTube and I can see why people would hate this character. Her pressure and spacing is amazing!
Really hoping there will be some future Soulcalibur news. I've been playing SCV again recently and have been having a blast! Right now, only two 3D fighters really get support, and that's both Tekken and DOA. I play all 3D fighters, so I don't want any of them to just fade away. Soulcalibur is...
So I've been trying out Viola, since I've been playing SCV again recently, and I'm having a blast so far. My current issue with her is controlling the orb. I know some strings can call it back when it's away from me, but I also know that I can set the orb away from me so that I can set up for...
I agree with everyone here when they say Pat, Mitsu, and Pyrrah. I'd also recommend Maxi and Xiba as well. Though someone did mention Nightmare and Siegfried, I don't think they're too beginner friendly. They may hit hard, but they're slow and their movement might frustrate a newer player.
