oh yeah and to my first point, the (2A+B6 into FCA+B) or (2A+B into CE+air-throw or whatever else) after a standard CH combo is something i haven't seen a good counter-strategy for. unless they jump of course, but then there could be other FC options besides A+B. Those bastards always lying...
a good strategy i started using is after a knockdown and the last FC A+B, your opponent refuses to get up and fall into techtraps you can try and 2A+B6 into another fast FC A+B since 2A+B6 leaves u in FC, this will reapply the stun from the jacks and can get you some more damage or another mix...
don't know if it's common knowledge but PO can be buffered into 8KK as i discovered yesterday. not overly useful unless you use 8KK to tech-jump and punish lows, but still something i have never seen before.
(note it's 8KK not 8KKK)
I do, but in reality not me or anyone else can really tell you how to use the stick. After all it's your hands and your stick not ours :) Just find a way that's more comfortable for you.
I assume you were using the pad before. So did i, and from my experience Mitsu felt just sooo much better...
i use 4B to aGI B's against natural combos that have Bs in them, a good example would be blocking mitsu's 2K in 2KB and doing 4B afterwards for free damage, or blocking the first hit of Maxi's 6BBB and aGIing the second hit. or doing it against cervy teleport spammers or any B-stuff..
have to...
I use all of the above moves, for reasons outlined by Fleshmasher and then some.
PO 214 generally seems very effective against people who either freeze up after PO for extra headfuckery, and for those who immediately retaliate against PO with a poke. i love this maneuver, also for the fact that...
since 66BA JF is the only one i can do consistently at least in training, i have tried teching after it
found a weird thing as well. the JF does not come out when hitting the enemy in the back. when hitting the enemy's right side it hits normally, from the left side it seems to sometimes...
oh.. sorry about that.
thanks for the JumPO tip anyway) it seems like a good surprising and best of all fast option, especially if you buffer the PO option right after 214. hell if it was up to me i'd be in PO all day long )))
really appreciated
this might be useful or just a glitch. please confirm/deny.
Voldo ducked my PO A+B yesterday while backturned. Both players went WTF, but really it's the first time i've seen a situation like this and that's what happened. Did not get to test it afterwards unfortunately.
why not throw in a PO backturned B+K / 8K mix up? or am i missing something? you can also blink a couple of times before doing either option or delay for additional mind-games or choose one on reaction to what the opponent tries to throw out
Thanks for the comments)
Yeah i know of the error) ditched continuity in favor of composition. Also Mekki should probably be smaller and altogether different but whatever) The greatest breach of continuity is that her tits are like 5 times bigger though)))))
Thanks for the reply and i came to the same conclusion yesterday in an offline play session during which i happily realized that my guard impact and interrupt skills are not even closely horrible as i thought they were. All the desired g.i's went off, opponent's moves were interrupted when i...
kilik spammers are the easiest opponents of all the spammers in my opinion. he's just too easy to read. but that has nothing to do with the topic unfortunately(((
I guess there was a little misunderstanding probably because of my choice of words)
sorry about that i'll try to explain what i really meant)
What i meant is and extension of the Taki players community)
I do not need to be trained like a noob as i've been playing the game since soul-edge...
Hey)
long time lurker, first time poster
I'm trying to be competitive but fair with Taki, making the real skills and not ways around those skills count. (i-e lag abuse, move spamming etc etc)
Personally i think Taki is a great character although not considered high-tier but who cares...
Anyone alive and playing soulcalibur on a competive, preferably pro level?
Anyone that just wants to learn more about the game and not afraid of challenges?
Just anyone who's interested in the game))
