If they exact recover (which they should most of the time) they'll get up quickly and you can apply mixup pressure. If they stay on the floor you can react and get free extra damage (light down attack) every time and if predicted, heavy damage (heavy down atteck). Rising attacks only apply if...
Yeah that's him. He wasn't able to make it this time and has gotten much more into Tekken recently but will come back to SC with SCV I expect. It's good Cervantes is back.
Nice meeting all of you. I'm looking forward to getting back into SC properly when SCV comes out and giving everyone a run for their money. I know a couple of others who I can get some regular practice with offline too who'll come along in future.
Synraii my stick is nostalgic but it's not as...
I'll be trying to come to this and will bring a friend along too if I can. Haven't really played much SC4 since SVB 09 but with SC5 not far away I wanna start playing again.
The biggest change by far was from Soul Edge/Blade to Soul Calibur. I think it's the biggest change I've seen in a fighting game sequel since SF1 to SF2. Imagine if they hadn't innovated so much when creating the followup to Soul Edge?
On the other hand what they came up with when they...
GI can't stay the same as it was if there introducing new defensive mechanics like JD and super step. Look at Garou's system of JD where it was invented and it's very good but how that translates to this game I don't know. Punishing certain NC's with JD however is different from Garou and more...
This version will be considerably easier than previous VF's and it won't be so hard to play and get into. VF4 was much more technically demanding. Hopefully reviewers will actually pick up on this and not scare people away with talk about it's complexity.
SC1 Hwang was awesome. Such a shame. His animations are still some of the best I've seen in the series. He was part of the main cast in SC3 AE along with Li Long but he lost his most interesting tools.
Lizardman was the master of ringouts in SC1 I remember and there were a lot of differing...
Setsuka SC3 design was the best. I don't like what they did with her in SC4 though. Taki SC2 style was good too also Hilde in her armour is really well done, the best new design in SC4.
I think Talim is the worst.
Anyone seen the range of weapons in Samurai Showdown 6? There's a Bayonet, bow & arrow, stone pillar and an arm cannon in addition to the more traditional weapons.
I'd like to see a character with a Pata (the long version of Voldo's Katar) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:P4030292.JPG...
